"Great lid", I actually bought this lid for use with another brand of cookware. It's perfect - pyrex glass, stainless steel screw holding the knob on, and a brass screw-socket in the plastic knob to keep the knob from loosening. (But don't put a metal screw in the microwave...)

Berndes pans are European/centimeter sized, so this lid isn't really 9-1/2 inches, it's really 24 cm. I bought it for my Mauviel 6 quart stew-pan, and it also fits really well on my 9.5 inch (also really 24 centimeter) Sitram skillet.

"A good lid, BUT....", Their lids have a plastic handle. And they melt, totally, if (foolishly) used in the microwave. And the whole thing then comes apart. Now I have to hope to find a replacement part. They are not constructed securely to begin with.....
