What our customer's say!

"A Joy to Use", I bought this mill in June of 2007, and to this day I get get a kick from using it. I would say that I've doubled my pepper consumption simply because grinding with this mill is such a pleasure. The grind is consistent. The mechanism catches peppercorns until it is practically empty.

My previous mills, all bought at half the price, broke down or were destroyed when they fell from a counter top.

This mill has already taken a nasty fall. The ring bent slightly out of true, but a little gentle pressure and everything was back in place.

It wasn't easy to decide to spend the money on this item, but there are few things I own that perform so well.

"Good volume, with a look suitable for table service", I finally got frustrated enough with my old pepper mill to replace it with one that was "high volume". After trying this model and the Unicorn Magnum Plus Pepper Mill 9-in., we went with this one. While more expensive, the brushed stainless fits our decor better, and its aesthetics are suitable for a formal meal. However, it does still put out enough volume for serious use in a kitchen.

Oddly enough, the deciding factor between the Peugeot and the Unicorn model for us was that the Magnum Plus put out too much pepper per turn. We were afraid that guests who used the Magnum Plus would unwittingly over-pepper their foods since the sheer output of the magnum plus was so far beyond any other pepper grinder we have ever used. The Peugeot, on the other hand, provided the right amount of volume for the kitchen and control for the table. A great pepper mill for chef's looking to have only one mill.

"Great Pepper Mill!", I purchased this pepper mill because I wanted a good pepper mill that holds a lot of peppercorns. This one is great! I love the way it feels and looks. I also like the variety in the grind. It really is a superior product and worth what I paid.

"A precision gem that died on me", I have used peppermills all my life and had heard Peugeot was the, um, Rolls Royce of the culinary world. And indeed, it is.

The only problem is that after a year of use, the top fell apart and could not be put back together again. Total loss. Problem is, the guarantee I mention below, has no instructions for return, no address, no phone, and is totally useless. A promise with no substance or backup. So despite the five star review I gave this earlier, I would avoid at all costs. The claim of a guarantee is just advertising copy, not real.

As described, the pepper that is created by this marvel is very uniform in size. You can adjust it from very course or extra fine. It is the fine setting which is so astounding, finer and "peppier" than any other mill I have ever used!Over the years I spent the price of this mill many times over, as the previous ones malfunctioned or failed after a year or two. Unlike those disappointments, Peugeot has a lifetime guarantee should I ever need it.Why did I wait so long....that is the only question left.
