"perfect product", just as described, could not be more pleased with purchase.. kitchen aid is a good product line "Not Perfect", My old square griddle warped quickly in cooking pancakes on our smooth-top range at a heat setting of 60%, and the outside cooked slower than the middle. After reeading the reviews of the Kitchen Aid 12" round griddle, I purchased one in the hopes that these problems could be avoided. I tried cooking pancakes at lower settings, but they did not rise properly. When I finally raised the temperature up to 60%, the Kitchen Aid griddle warped also, and cooked slower around the edges. "Pure Awesomacity", First time using hard-anodized cookware and I couldn't be more pleased with this product. KitchenAid can be hit or miss in terms of quality but buying this along with their 12 piece set has made cooking and cleaning up an absolute breeze. I tested this griddle by burning some eggs on it and they came off the bottom of the pan with no effort, just had to swirl around the part that connects the handle to the pan a few times to get the rest. I'm extremely happy with this pan! "Nice flat nonstick griddle-pan", Shipped quickly. Nonstick from the start. No "seasoning" needed. Nice size. Fits over large burner without having cool edges. "Griddle", The griddle works very good but I have to be very careful when using it on my glass top cooking surface the heat transfer is awesome. I've had to adjust the heat to lower levels because of this. Works great!

First of all, it was for a great price... the product is great.... no oil is necessary, cleaning is really easy... great to make crepes.. i love this product... I am planning to buy another one for my mother... "KitchenAid Products Fan", KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials cookware is an excellent product line. We just added this item to the rest of our set. The hard anodized construction heats evenly, handles are rivited on and have soft silicone rubber grips (eliminates a pot holder). The non-stick surface is superior when it comes to cleaning. Food particles rinse off easily with warm soapy water and swish of a sponge or dishrag. NOT recommended for dishwashers and NEVER use an NON-STICK spray on the cooking surface. You won't be dis-satisfied with this cookware!! |
