Others say...
"Well worth the money" I borrowed my mother's T-Fal kettle for vacation and was very pleased. Having a 6 month old, I was able to heat water and boil bottles quickly and efficiently in a rustic cabin setting. "Home, home off the range" This electric kettle works very well. The cordless aspect is great, the handle stays cool and it pours in a controllable manner. The automatic "shutoff on boil" sensor, while not instantaneous, cuts power about 10-15 seconds after full boil. (Remember, you must have the lid on and latched for the boil sensor to function properly.) I've only had it a few weeks, but so far I'm completely satisfied. One unanticipated benefit is that during the summer months it doesn't There's a claim on the box that it will boil a cup of water in 90 The kettle boiled 1 quart (0.95L) of refrigerated water from a

T-Fal 9205000 Elegance Stainless Steel Electric Kettle
Why I buy this one ? - 6-cup electric kettle with concealed heating element - Cordless operation; kettle pivots 360 degrees on base - Auto shut off; integrated filter - Locking lid; insulated handle - 1-year warranty What our customer's say! "I would never be without this product again.", I drink a lot of tea. Yerba Matte, Red, Green, ginger, etc. You name it - I drink it. I Purchased the 9205000 for my Mom for her birthday and she really enjoyed it. So I got one for myself! I was constantly opening and shutting my kitchen window because I was constantly starting the gas burner to make a pot of tea. It got annoying and I am sure that they gas burning in the house, even with the window open, is not the healthiest thing for you (FDA says indoor pollution is worse that outdoor). The 9205000 boils very quickly, in stainless steel, with no fumes. Plus the steel helps keep the remaining water nice and hot. The only negative (to me...) is the plastic top and screener. I would like that to be steel or, in the case of the screen, possibly even non-existent. That said, it is a good looking appliance that works well. I am looking forward to year of usage and 1000s of cups of tea! Pros: My wife loves this gift. Great ergonomics. Rapidly heats water in almost no time. Design is "designer" quality, excellently balanced, and a pouring spout that is very safe (it would be really difficult to burn yourself with it). Simple idiot proof design. Goes from slim base to the table without needing a trivet. Looks great on your table and it retains heat for quite a while. Very simple to operate with one switch and auto-off. Very energy efficient and you don't heat-up the kitchen. Base is slim, round, and well designed...since the central connector is round you can put the kettle on it oriented in any rotated angle (a full 360 degrees). The cord can be store in the underside of the base to increase safety and reduce kitchen clutter. Perfect size and weight. Well designed twist lid. Cons: Insignificant ones: I don't really care about the included water filter since it will need to be cleaned eventually. No water level indication (but if you pour in 2 cups...2 cups come out). Conclusion: The best, must have kitchen item--- in my humble opinion! ![]() |
