"Worn out pads but still in love!"
I received the Bissell Steam Mop as a housewarming gift from a friend when we built our house 5 years ago. After years of cleaning floors with chemicals and a mop, I was skeptical about how clean my floors would be with just this simple looking mop and water, especially the grout. To my amazement, this mop does a great job! I have used it exclusively on my floors for 5 years and would never go back to the chemicals and bucket. The only negative is that because I have rough textured tile in my kitchen and 3 bathrooms, the pads wear out quickly! I only get 2 uses and 1 washing out of each pad before I replace it. The pads wear right through near the mop's steam holes. At first I thought I'd go broke buying pads, but when I factor in the savings on chemicals and mops, it makes it easier to accept. I also factor in the cleanliness of my floors, (they still look new), the EASE of cleaning the floors, that the floors dry almost instantly, that I have no chemical fumes, and I don't have a bucket of dirty water being spread back around with the mop, it makes replacing the pads frequently a no-brainer. So today I am delighted to find replacement Bissell Steam Mop Pads for my mop on Amazon and am ordering another 8 to get me through the summer with the kids home and lemonade spilling and popsicles melting on my clean floors!
