"tap water to spring water" does a great job of cleaning up tap water, nice clean tasting. no delivery and storage of 5 gallon containers "Addipure Replacement Filter" There were many negative reviews for this item. None were true. I received the filters in a few days, and all was fine. Go ahead, buy 'em here. "missing parts" I have purchased these filter in the past from Amazon without problems, but this time I ordered 3 filters and when they came they did not have all the pieces as in the picture. I returned them to Amazon without any problems and they sent 3 replacements...same problem. Amazon looked into the problem and said they would not be able to send more as they needed to look into the problem. I was given a refund in no time...but I am still w/out filters. I hope Amazon can rectify the problem soon. "Addipure Filter" The filter seems to do the job. My water now tastes like bottled water at a fraction of the price. Ilse "office manager" The Addipure system is an excellent way to remove chlorine odors, etec. from "hard" water. However, it has been next to impossible to get replacement filters. I waited for 5 months to get some, then I ordered a year's worth to make sure I didn't run out. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any other place to buy the replacement filters. If the delivery problems are resolved, I would heartily recommend this product.

Why I buy this one ? - Remove chlorine and lead from tap water - Fits All ADDI counter top water coolers - Fits Addipure water dipenser filtration system What our customer's say! "I wish I could buy this filter or its equivalent", With my back problem, this filter was the perfect alternative to buying gallons of filtered water, putting them in the cart, then on the conveyor belt, into the car and then up the stairs into the house. Since the water cooler is next to my kitchen sink, all I had to do was fill the water jug and there was minimal lifting involved. Plus I saved a lot of money. I wish I could buy this filter or its equivalent. If anyone knows where to find one, let us know! "Addipure Replacement Filter", I think the filter works great. It's a shame Amazon stopped carrying it. It would filter about 60 gallons of water before it needed changing. "When will you have them in stock?", I have used this product for the past four years and I am satisfied with it in general. The only downside is that when it's new, the black filter powder sometimes "pollutes" the water. I searched everywhere online but couldn't find one. Hope Amazon will fill up their stock soon. Now I have been trying for the last month to get thru and am told "no longer in service"So now I am into this site and I still can not get any results. I used to be able to get the filters at a local hardware store...about a year ago I started getting them from Amazon.com. Now there is a 3-5 week lead time...I last ordered September 8 and the filters still haven't arrived. I tried looking all over the net...but no luck...Amazon is the only one who "sells" them. This item is a must have for college students or anyone living in a dorm/apt. that likes there water tasting like it wasnt pumped straight out of the river. A lot cheaper than buying bottles and perfectly cold, without the use of chemical refridgerants. Buy one, but beware, its popular late night, so make sure you fill it! "Great Item But..........", We purchased this water cooler a few years back and it is great. We have all had great enjoyment from it. But....ours does not have a removable filter and we cannot get the inside compartment clean enough with just vinegar and water. We have been getting particles in the water we dispense and are in a dilema. Can anyone give us suggestions on how to clean this cooler. We have the black Milano cooler that is no longer available.
