"Works great!" After getting frustrated with the iron cord getting in the way, I AM NOW STRESS FREE! "Better than others on market" Abolute must to keep your iron cord out of your way. I had one of these for many years from Polder and broke it. Purchased another brand that turned out to be junk. Found this product again and once again I am happy!! "Indispensable" And hard to find gadget. An older, different version of this finally fell apart, and I found it impossible to replace in any land-based store -- probably because people don't iron much anymore except when sewing. Although it takes a minute to set up, it is well worth it to be able to keep the cord out of the way of the iron.

What our customer's say! "plastic screw???????", Poor quality, Uses a plastic screw to hold it to the iron board. Needs a metal screw to hold in place. WEAK Plastic screw is not strong enough to hold the Polder Cordminder in place. Would not recommend at all. The need to redesign this and use a metal screw with threads to hold it in place. "Iron cord minder", I bought a new iron and wanted to prolong the life of the iron's cord by using a cord minder. My last iron (a Rowenta) didn't last very long as it first burned through the wiring at the plug. My husband replaced the plug and it worked a few more years and then burned through the wiring at the base of the iron and even burned my arm! I thought the Rowneta was a poorly made iron, and becasue of the stress on the cord, I didn't want that to happen again (never happened before the Rowenta though). So I bought a new Black and Decker iron rated as a best buy in Consumer Reports and then I bought this cordminder. I like the cordminder. But I am very dissapointed to see that NOW you are offering FREE shipping on this $6 cordminder, while I paid just as much in shipping costs as the produsct itself! I could have bought 2 if I knew you would offer FREE shipping later! Not too happy about that! "Cordminder", This is a great item for anyone that irons one piece of clothing or many. Keeps the cord up and away from the item being ironed preventing wrinkles and creases. I can't believe I went so long without one. "Didn't Mind my Iron Cord!", I had great hopes for this iron cord minder since it had all positive reviews, but alas, it wasn't to be so. I do a LOT of sewing and have a heavy duty iron with a thick appliance cord that would not go through the very narrow cordminder opening for the cord. I mean, not even close! And then the weight of my iron cord weighted down the entire cordminder so it bent backwards. This is a lightweight meant for the typical household iron. "Owned for 3 yrs still perfect cord minder", This simple little gadget works so well for so little money. Saves me much frustration. Purchased in Dec. 2004 and still works like new!
