I love this bread machine. My husband and I have had one for many years so when my in-laws wanted a bread machine I didn't hesitate in buying them the same one.

I took the word of dozens of reviewers and bought this machine to replace a "dead" one. Am I glad I did. I've only had it a short time, but I already love it. Cookbook is easy to follow and bread has turned out perfect every time so far. I'm a happy camper.

I have used this machine for about 1 year now. I bought it as an addition to my old machine The TR 700 (which still works after 10 years). I use this machine at least twice a week to make bread. It makes wonderful loaves of great tasting bread. My wife raves over them. The key is to used GOOD flour such as King Arthur or Bob's Red Mill (or Arrowhead Mills if you like to spend a lot). Another key ingrediant is fresh yeast, water without chlorine or other additives, and kosher salt. You must be exact in your measurements. If you are not precise your bread will taste bad or not rise. If you can get over the vertical loaf, you'll love this machine!


"most wattage and best results"
This bread machine has more wattage than machines costing 2 times as much. Which means better kneading WHICH makes much better breads And I have had superb results when making dough. I have also used it to make fresh BUTTER and that is also wonderful. I have had no problems with this machine I would recommend it to any one who ask me. I got this first one when they were Toastmaster corner bakery Used it for 7 years until the bake cycle went out, however it still works and makes really good dough that can be baked in the oven. Then I got another one! Now they are owned by the Breadman/Salton company but they are still the same quality machine.

"make ok bread but great cheese cake"
I have had this machine for almost 2 years. Tried different recipes, but none of them made great toasts. However, I still use it as a dough mixer, and works fine.

This Sunday night, I had some cream cheese, almost due for the best use date, left in fridge, but I was too lazy to make anything. So, I followed the cheesecake recipe came with the machine(just pour everything in)and, to my surprise, my son said that's the best cheese cake I have ever made.

This might not be a perfect bread making machine but still does a lot of other great things, especially at it's price.
