"Awesome!!!", This bread machine is fantastic! I got it as a Christmas present last year, and I have been baking all of our family's bread with it since then. I have not encountered any of the problems other reviewers had, such as it not mixing all the ingredients or having trouble locking the pan into place. I do not think the noise it makes is too excessive (what kitchen gadget isn't a little noisy?) I did read the instruction manual thoroughly before using it, as it was my first time using any type of bread machine. If you follow the directions for each recipe, and not try to alter them, you shouldn't have any difficulties (I haven't). I've made all types of bread, doughs, and jams in this machine with wonderful results that keep my family begging for more. Our friends are always asking us to bring a loaf of french bread whenever we come over (the easiest recipe in the manual). It usually is devoured in one sitting!

"Good breadmaker", I've had this breadmaker for several years, and have used it extensively. Although I've had a few bad loaves (usually due to an error in measuring ingredients) for the most part it produces excellent bread. I'm really not sure what has caused all the problems others report here, but I'd guess they were due to user error. The motor does stall if you don't add enough liquid, and the paddle doesn't engage if the pan isn't correctly seated, but those are easy errors to avoid. Overall a good quality breadmaker if you use it correctly.

"PA. Breadmaker", I chose to buy this bread machine after reading the reviews. My first 3 loafs did not turn out at all, I called the Breadman phone# and asked why. They were very helpful, they told me not to use bread machine yeast, use regular active dry yeast. It worked, the loafs are wonderful. I always made my bread from scratch but don't have the time anymore. I have had other bread machines and always used the bread machine yeast. It is stated in the recipe book that comes with the machine to use active dry yeast but I didn't think it mattered, with the super rapid rise cycle you do use bread machine or rapid rise yeast. Many useful cycles and selections with this machine. I love it, don't hesitate to buy this one, I did alot of research and this one seems to be the best for the price. very nice loafs of bread.

"It works!", After reading many of the reviews of the various breadmakers I chose this one. I had a Breadman Ultimate which from one loaf of bread to the next (within a few hours) just failed. Nothing seemed wrong with the machine...but the bread just did not rise properly. I tried everything to fix it but all my loaves did not rise properly. The final solution was a new machine. I purchased it through Amazon even though there were some bad comments about shipping damage. My new 900S came promptly and it was well packaged. Whew! Now the test of the breadmaker itself. Yipeee...everything turned out. The first loaf had a bad after taste because instead of doing a "dry run" as the instructions recommended I made a real loaf. I was a bit concerned that running the machine with nothing in it to burn off the oils in the machine might cause the thermostats to not work properly (which is what I suspect happened to my former Ultimate machine). After the first loaf, all my breads have turned out beautifully. In conclusion the 900S is a wonderful machine and I have been nothing but well pleased with all items ordered via Amazon. Thanks!!!

"REALLY Great Machine", I have to agree with all the other reviews - this is really an amazing bread machine. Not one loaf has turned out badly (I've made 3 so far - whole grain, whole wheat cinnamon raisin walnut, and honey granola) and I've never seen a bread machine beat the dough into submission like this one! It also incorporates nuts & raisins flawlessy - you add them at the first series of beeps, and even though the machine is in the first knead cycle and flings the stuff all over, it stops, rotates, and picks up and incorporates every last bit. The recipes that come with the bread machine are excellent - I have also made wonderful pizza dough and poundcake, all recipes that came with it. I would also recommend the Breadman's Healthy Bread book if you are looking to make healthful, completely whole grain breads, which this machine handles wonderfully. Do not hesitate to buy this one!

"Excellent bread machine", I hadn't had a bread machine in many years and remember the quirky nature of my old machine. Bread machines have come a long way, and this Breadman is an excellent choice. I have seen a couple reviews in which it was stated that the machine didn't mix the dough well enough. I found that some of the recipes that came with the machine didn't seem to me to contain enough liquid. That may be the problem. But the instructions for this machine, as with all machines, state that you do need to check your dough at the beep and make sure it is the right texture and that it is well mixed. Flours can vary a lot throughout the seasons.

"Breadman TR900S Professional-Series Breadmaker", Great machine, easy to clean, and very easy to use. Bread has turned out perfectly every time. Recipes are good too! Highly recommend the machine.

"Doesn't Work", I have owned other bread machines, but this is the worst one I have ever used. It doesn't mix the dough right. By the time it started baking the dough was not mixed enough. The paddle had just pushed the ingredints to the sides and left a big hole in the middle. I am taking this back to the store.

"Expensive baking pan", Not sure how other people have been able to make a real loaf of bread with this, but I certainly could not. I made three attempts, all failures for various reasons. Either it did not mix, or the dough was so hard it knocked the pan off its base, or it created pebbles of dough. It definitely can not be left unattended, which defeats the purpose of delay start. It bakes OK though, but you better do all the upfront work yourself. PS. I was using the recipes that come with the maker.
