Others say...

"Best omelet pan around!"
Outstanding omelete pan. Excellent coating prevents sticking; it is easy to 'flip' the top onto the omelet. Enjoyable pan to use.

"Poor Quality Omelet maker"
After using this product the very first time to make omelets, I noticed that the omelet sticks at the center. After a few uses the sticking became so bad that I eventually decided to throw this product away. It was a waste of money.

"Omellette or poached?"
I like this omelette pan, and I like that it has a poacher too. Now I just have to decide which to make. I can see other uses too, like frying an egg on one side & some onions or mushrooms on the other. Versatile.

"Easy to use."
Easy to use, I also used it for grilled cheese works great. Only draw back wish it was a thicker pan. No stick with cooking spray.

"Good Omelet cooker"
The pan worked as advertised. The metal is thin so be careful about over heating. A thin pan helps when cooking an omelet. A heavy pan will overcook.
Love the flip over design... Well made and works great. Be sure to use wooden tools as not to scratch it...
The added bonus of the egg cooker is very nice. As eggs are the best foods you can eat, I eat a lot of eggs...

I hand wash the pan.

What our customer's say!

"Piece of Junk", Nordic Ware Divided Skillet/Omelet Pan, Charcoal
A veritable piece of junk. When I tried to fold it over right out of the box, the hinges bent and now the edges of the pan do not line up making it useless for omelets.

Don't bother!

"Danger! Do not buy this product.", Don't buy this product if you want to cook an omelet. The metal is thin and will burn the center of your omelet and when folding the divider and turning your omelet, it spills out over your stove. Major mistake spending money on this piece of junk.

"DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!", This is the worst piece of junk I've ever purchased. It's made from a cheap grade of aluminum and is definitely NOT non-stick. The handle constantly works loose. Tiny pieces of the "non-stick" finish chip off each time I use it (and no, I'm not using metal utinsels and no I'm not scrubbing it with steel wool). I'm really surprised that Nordic Ware would sell such a worthless piece of trash. Do yourself a favor: buy something else.

"Makes a nice omelet!", I think this is a pretty good omelet pan overall. It's easy to use and flip one side onto the other. It takes a little time to get used to what temperature works best for cooking the egg so that it's not runny but after a few tries it gets easier, still tricky at times. The omelets usually turn out very good and haven't had any problems sticking in the pan. I always add a spray of Pam to it first anyway. I like the egg poaching insert too but have yet to give it a try.

"Omelet pan", The omelet pan has been returned to Amazon for a full refund; the nonstick surface began to peel off of the pan like paint. The Nordic Ware Divided Skillet/Omelet Pan is a good example of low-quality cookware.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Buyer Beware", I bought this to replace an omelet pan that was at least 30 years old. The handle finally broke off after decades of service and left me in search of a replacement. I found this, bought it, and have been dissatisfied ever since. It is NOT a heavy duty pan (very thin in fact), NOT coated in durable non-stick material (peeling after perhaps 6-10 uses and very sticky even with butter or cooking spray applied liberally) and certainly doesn't cook evenly (burns by the hinge and remains raw at the outside). The search for a suitable replacement for my trusty old pan continues.

"Buy Something Else!", This pan is cheaply made and everything sticks. I went to QVC and bought a great omelet pan item #K6518 and what a difference! It's not a divided pan but makes great eggs!

"Happy Camper", Such an easy and successful way to shop. Product was just what I wanted and I didn't even have to go out in the flaming Arizona summer to get it.

"Good gift", I gave this to my mom for her birthday, and she loved it! She wasn't even sure they still made omelet pans anymore, so it was a nice surprise.

"Nordic Ware Divided Skillet/Omelet Pan", This has proved to be just what I needed. I have an older Antionette Pope Cookbook (1954)which features a recipe for a fluffy omelet. The recipe requires a divided pan. This pan is ideal for that recipe and works perfectly. The egg poaching insert works well too. I bought this pan specifically for this recipe and couldn't be more pleased. My family loves the omelets the pan (and I)are able to produce. E-mail me and I will share the recipe(...). Then you'll be able to appreciate the beauty of this cookware.
