"Useful and attractive"
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3JZN24X1IEOUY I love these CD holders! I have been looking for some like it for years. They look really smart on the shelf. Some of the metal fittings were a little sloppy (there was black paint on 2 of them) and the paper label is difficult to change, but would absolutely recommend... I am being picky. They really look fabulous. I bought 3, then wanted more and bought 3 more!

"Looks great on a shelf"
These binders are perfect for storing my photo CD files in my office in plain sight, which was my main purpose for buying them. I didn't want big, ugly CD folders sitting out on a shelf. I did have to purchase refill pages right away, as there are never enough in these types of binders. The metal frame around the binder label has come loose around the edges, but that would be the only negative thing. I bought four originally, and will be purchasing more soon.

"I wouldn't choose anything else!"
I love these storage binders...I only started buying all my favorite DVD's recently but I have A LOT of CD's as well. The storage binder looks great and keeps my CD's/DVD's in good condition and off my floor, desk, or any other surface that they have been invading lately. I have already bought three, and I'm going to keep buying them until I catch up with my every growing CD/DVD collection! The binders are also good for storing games, without having to have a million game cases all over the room! I give them 5 stars and recommend them for everyone, I absolutely love them!

"great organizer"
I bought three of these albums about a year ago to help control the growing dvd collection that was taking over the living room. I put the kids' dvds in one of them, and used the other two for non-kid movies. The room looks less like blockbuster video and more like a living room again. My one complaint is that the dvd's fall out pretty easily if the album is not held upright, and it's no fun having a pile of dvd's to clean up (I'm sure it's not too good for the dvd's either!) This is probably the result of careless children rather than a design flaw. Overall, a wonderful product!

"love it"
This is exactly what I was looking for. I bought two and will be buying a couple more. They look good and hold a decent amount of cds/dvds. I have been looking for a product to hold our cds/dvds for a while now and this is the first that serves the purpose but also looks nice on a bookcase.

What our customer's say!

"good item, but interesting flaw", I purchased two of these binders. Their appearance is nice and has a bookshelf appeal. My main reason for purchase of this particular product was to be able to put in the title/insert of the dvd covers with the dvd itself. While many dvd's do come with an insert that will fit into the pouches, many do not. I wish these binders had 'modified' pouches to accommodate the cover slips as well as inserts. I have little need for the extra space for some title slip. That space could have been utilized for the additional size of the covers. Perforations or something of the sort would have been a nice option for space usage there. I actually tore a side of the bottom pouches so I could use the paper title covers on dvds that did not provide internal inserts. Nearly half my dvds did not contain inserts and many were newer releases.

"Nice overall", I bought 4 with the inserts after reading the reviews here. While they're not absolute top of the line they are made fairly well. Actually better than most I've seen. No they're not "zippered" and dust will eventually get in, not really a big deal since the pages are more than adequate to protect the DVD/CD's. With the Inserts this brings them up to 80 per Binder. I do think that is a little "fat" so I've left 4 pages empty per binder. They look very nice on the bookshelf and stand up very well. I've got a very large DVD collection and these not only look very nice but are designed/made pretty well. Fact is they work out so well I've ordered another 8 with additional inserts. I really got tired of my living room starting to look like a DVD store.

Yep, I do recommend these. They may be a bit pricey but are a good bang for the buck, you do get what you pay for.

"Fantastic!", Bought the three pack, and need one more.
I used each slot to hold the CD's book as well as the CD itself, and it filled out the book nicely, without needing more inserts. If you are using this for CDs only [no book] then extra inserts can be used.
I love them... finally, no tower, no shelf, no cases lying around everywhere. A comprehensive collection, and it looks damn snazzy too.

"The ultimate solution to my media clutter!", This is it! I have purchased 2 of these decorative binders and they look great where ever I put them. They have helped me down-size and organize what was once a clutter of DVDs and CDs. It was somewhat hard to rid myself of dvd cases but for my small space it was necessary and I wanted something I can display but wanted to avoid those drab zipper binders. This really was the ultimate solution because they are stylish and eye-catching and house guests are drawn to them and find it hard to believe that my extensive DVD collection is found within! Furthermore, I made my own labels using some fancy font and they look awesome! The product does not mention any label-making tips but it is really common sense, all you really need is a Microsoft Word-type application and a printer, usually a 8pt font is just about right, depending on the title. I collect show series and it's great to see my entire collection of The Sopranos, Sex and the City, and Six Feet Under in these binders. Im in Media Storage Heaven!

"Notes on actual storage capacity", So far I have been very pleased with this product. Just wanted to write a quick note on the realistic capacity for cd storage. If you are planning to insert the cd liner notes behind the cd, the binder will hold approximately 8-10 pages which translates into a storage capacity of 32-40 cds per binder. I ordered extra pages and found them totally unnecessary given that I inserted the liner notes behind my cds. The only need for extra pages is if you are not planning to insert your cd liner notes. Otherwise, just order the binders.

The binders also do feel like genuine leather and look exceptionally nice on display.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Mixed banes and blessings...", Based on the reviews read here, we bought three of these to contain a special subset of our main collection, which is housed in several large zippered binders made by Targus and CaseLogic. Comparing the two system concepts -- looseleaf book style vs. zipped binders -- we came to these conclusions:

* Zipped binders provide considerably more dust protection than the bookshelf binders.

* Looseleaf book-style binders afford greater flexibility in moving discs from one place in a volume to another than do zippered binders lacking removable page capability.

* Zipped binders with handles offer easier portability, even if only from room to room.

* These particular looseleaf book-style binders don't seem to be as well made as we expected; on receipt, the paper glued to inside the front cover of one was already beginning to detach. They do, however, offer convenient spine slots for labeling contents.

* Most seriously, these binders don't come with enough inserts to fill them out sufficiently; we found that the inserts from three binders barely fill two, leaving one empty binder and the need to buy additional inserts.

Tip: if you opt for this style (and are willing to accept the dust vulnerability), buy fewer binders but more inserts (sold separately at Large CD/DVD Binder Insert Pages). A filled binder will stand better on shelves and fill out the space between volumes from back to front.

This is a costly solution to the CD/DVD storage solution that looks better, I think, than it works. We'll keep the ones we have, and buy more inserts, but return to our former practice of using zippered, large-capacity, bookshelf-sized binders.

"We got our shelf space back!", Received item very quickly and matched description. We have recovered some very valuable shelf space by using this product. The number of pages that come with the binder seem skimpy until you fill it up with dvds and covers.

"Good quality, nice appearance, no tabs, no labels", The binder looks nice and appears to be good quality. The page inserts hold 4 DVDs each, 2 on each side. Each pocket has a soft cloth-like center sheet that the data side of the DVD rests against. It looks like it would protect from scratches. This is covered with a clear plastic cover, which has a small flap at the top to keep the disk from falling out if the binder were stored upside down. That flap could be better designed. If you do not lift it up before inserting the disk, it is very difficult to get it up.

Next to each cover is a narrow (1" wide) vertical pocket for a label. No blank labels were provided. There were also no tabs or divider pages provided and the design of the binder and pages do not really allow any space for divider pages. I would prefer getting rid of the narrow label space, making the pages narrower overall, and leaving space for divider pages, which should be provided. I went to the manufacturer website, [...]. They do not even offer any other type of pages.

There is a very small bracket on the spine that will take a 1.5" x 1" paper label. Again, no blanks are provided. These deficiencies cost them .5 stars.

The binder comes with 12 pages each holding 4 disks for a capacity of 48 disks. The binder looks like it could hold at least 3 times that many pages - maybe less when full. Replacement pages are almost as expensive as the binder + pages. I paid $[...] for the binder and 12 pages. The cost for 8 replacement pages is $[...]. It looks like they are trying to make a much bigger profit on the replacements pages and they provide way too few in the beginning. This cost them 1.5 stars.

I am going to go down to the local stationery store and look for standard binders and insert pages for DVDs/CDs. It probably won't be quite as pretty on the shelf, but then I am storing mainly software - not classic performances by the Berlin Philharmonic.

"Awesome Space Saver ", I agree with all the other 5 star reviews. I had over 275 DVDs that used up 4 shelves on my bookcase, and now with 8 binders, they fit all on one shelf and I can put all my CD-Roms, photo CDs, x-boxes games as well. Just ordered 2 more to fill in the empty space on the same shelf.

"Awesome addition to the bookshelf", This product is great! We purchased a bookshelf stereo system so we could get rid of the big stereo cabinet in our living room. These work great to store the CD's and the booklet that comes with the CD. The look great too!
