"The best press that I can find"
After seeing and using one of these at a friends house I was so impressed with the ease of use, ease to clean-up and great coffee. Like the other reviewers say - don't count on it keeping coffee hot for hours, its not designed to do that. It does make a great cup though.



"excellent but tiny"
I've finally found the coffee pod I've looking for. This press keeps the coffee hot and fresh. I usually pour in the hot water first to warm up the pot before I make my coffee. Makes 1-2 cups of coffee only.

It took several tries to come up with the right combination of number of beans, how long to heat water in microwave,and how long to brew the beans to come with the perfect cup of coffee.

I use 1 1/2 teaspoons of coffee.. heat the water for 3 1/2 minutes in microwave then let it brew for 4 minutes..PERFECT.

Only gripe... I use a good size coffee cup.. and have to fill the press to the top to get "1 full cup"...In no way will this make 3 cups. All the bitterness is taken out I never experienced such wonderful tasting coffee.

I can't say anything negative about this french press .Bodum its the top brand plus my mom says that its a cute coffee maker.

"Will it keep for life"
This is a press that I will keep until I lose. The stainless steel container is well made and much sturdier than the glass ones. Even when it is empty you can feel the weight of it and tell that it wasn't made cheaply with plastic parts. The actual filter part is good with a stainless steel plunger and wire mesh. The 12 oz serving size is perfect for making a cup of coffee for myself.
