"A little thick" This spoon is good and sturdy, but the handle is pretty thick, so if you have smaller hands you might choose another spoon. In contrast with a thicker handle your not afraid to add extra pressure. "works great" No problems. Most of the ones like this I have bought tend to break very quickly. This one I've had for a long while now, and its is very solid. Nice to know that the still make some things like they used to. "Spoon!" This is a nice solid contoured spoon. It's untreated and so will probably colour a bit over time, but other than that is exactly what I was looking for; a solid spoon capable of stirring vats of things! "Very large" The spoon is quite large... It did not look so large in the pictures. But, other that that it is a nice, study piece of wood. "Perfect for big hands" Regular wooden spoons were giving me cramps in my hand when stirring batters, etc. Once again, OXO solved the problem. Of course, this is a wooden utensil, so it takes a little special care, and even then will not last forever. OXO also makes plastic versions for those interested in non-biodegradable alternatives.

I will certainly be using this product as part of housewarming gifts in the future. "Long handled spoon great for non-stick cookware", This is a sturdy spoon with a long handle. It is very nice to cook with. Mine seems to be one piece and I have no problem with it splitting, for this reason. The spoon takes longer to dry after washing, than plastic. Other than this minor inconvenience, I much prefer cooking with this spoon to the plastic ones on the market. If this is what you want, just go to your local discount store. But if quality if what you're after, you'll have to look elsewhere. |
