"Great Plates" The Corelle Winter Frost White plates have a simple, clean look. They match any kitchen. They are fairly sturdy, unless you drop them on very hard tile. However, they remain relatively light. "Excellent for Everyday" I used to work for Corning Revere 10 years ago and I can vouch for the durability of Corelle dishes (since I FREQUENTLY dropped them). They are great for basic everyday use--I will buy them for the rest of my life so long as they keep making them. I prefer the basic white myself but they make several color schemes. I highly recommend this product! "Super light weight, durable dinner plates" This plate, the 10 inch is the normal size dinner plate, just so you know. It's easy to buy the wrong size with these because they come in so many sizes. My aunt has had the Winter Frost White as long as I can remember, and now I am slowly building my own collection. I love them - they are very light and strong. I tried throwing a plate on the kitchen floor and it is still intact. The material feels like a combination of porcelin and pyrex as weird as that sounds. They are so thin and light that I could probably carry at least 35 of them. This is perfect for your everyday meals. Highly recommended! "Absolutely wonderful." The combination of the great price and incredible durability makes this stuff perfect for just about everyone. Both I and my parents have been using Corelle dinnerware for over 15 years, and are amazed at how well they hold up.

What our customer's say! "Love these plates", These are really nice plates. They have a classic beauty and simplicity, but at the same time a modern look...and the best quality: resistance. They are unbelievably strong and last forever. And you can never go wrong with simple white...you can combine them with different color table cloths, and colorful glasses. Plus, they are extremely cheap but with a quality worth lots of dollars. "Corelle is very dangerous dont buy it!", I found out how dangerous these plates are. When I dropped a smaller plate on the counter from the cabinet it shattered into a thousand little pieces all over the counter, floor and flew across the room as far as 12 feet away. The broken hards are like little razors and are very difficult to see. It is very likely that these could fly into ones eye and cause serious damage or at least require a trip to the doctor to have it removed from the eyeball - yeesh, sounds very painfull. I am thinking of getting rid of these and replacing them with regular ceramic plates that don't break into so many little pieces and "literally" explode all over the place from impact. I agree their should be a recall or at least a warning on these. The ironic thing is that on the back of the plate it says break and chip resistant, but if anything they break easier than glass or ceramic plates I have had. Even though it might be rare for one to drop or brake a plate, when it does happen it could cause serious injury if toddlers, little children, older people, or the disabled are nearby and step on the pieces. It took me like a whole hour to decontaminate the kitchen and then even later on I found a shard of glass on the rug, leading to the living room even though I made a point of not walking into the other oom until I swept and vacummed the kitchen. The shards are very scary looking like they could penetrate an artery! I had Corelle for so many years and never broke one with everyday use, but when I did drop it a couple feet it shattered into so many small pieces compared to other plates - maybe it gets really brittle after microwaving them since they are a sort of glass, however they are supposed to be microwave-safe. "White Corelle plates", The plates were as described and arrived in great condition and in a timely manner. Thanks. "Breaking Corelle", I give Corelle 5 stars. They are hard to break. That being said, if you DO break Corelle, it turns into thousands of needle and razor like shards that are really dangerous. I buy, use and recommend Corelle, but just be careful around the breakage if you do break a piece. "Clean and easy", I looked for somewhere to find these Corelle plates and found them on Amazon. My favorite dish and plate design should last a while and withstand my abuse.
