"solid stone"
It's a nice addition to my kitchen, and it stays in the oven all the time.

"Stone broke while in oven"
Large piece of the stone broke off while in the oven during it's second use!

"The perfect gift"
Purchased as a gift for family, and they love it - have made pizza and bread with great results, and rave how good everything turns out.
Glad I found it!

"Thought it was great until it cracked after 3 months of gentle use."
I got this item for Christmas and so far it's been great. I have even used it to make pizzas on our Weber gas grill. The crust is delicious, perfect combination of crusty and chewy.

Addendum: This cracked in half after 3 months of use, without any trauma to it. I would not recommend this item. I ended up going to Home Depot and bought 6 Santillo tiles for under $10 for the same effect.

"Decent Bajking Stone"
These cooking stones are a little thin but work well for baking bread- I bake many loaves for our business every week. Take care to handle gently!

What our customer's say!

"It Works", There was nothing wrong with this baking stone but we did decide the day after we bought it that we'd rather have a round one.

"product review", It is a gimmick that doesn't work very well. I used too much corn meal and it caused a lot of smoke in the oven. Maybe, if I use just a little mineral oil and corn meal, it will work out. I had more problems with the pizza peel than I had with the pizza stone.

"Disappointed", This pizza stone is one big disappointment. I previously had a Sassafras Pizza Stone(for nearly 20 years until it finally cracked)which was fantastic. It cooked the pizza perfectly and browned the crust evenly. This new pizza stone (purchased a few months ago and which is not made of the same material)leaves the crust soggy. Obviously, whatever materials it is made from does NOT conduct the heat properly or in the same way as the old pizza stone. I say this with the experience of making several pizzas on it. The only way I can get a browned crust is to remove slices from the stone after baking, and put them in a heated frying pan for 3-4 minutes.

Save yourself the money on wasted ingredients and a terrible dinner. It doesn't even deserve a one-star rating.

"BUY IT", this item is just fine! you could spend LOTS more, for a fancy stone;but this is perfect! i used it 3 times already and i am quite happy

"Impressed", I was really impressed using this for homemade pizza. My pizza came out great and I like how the crust didn't get all soggy. I can't wait to use it for bread! Highly recommended.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"baking stone", I am a chef with 10 yrs in the industry. This is something everyone should have, and the stones get better as they get seasoned with use. In reference to another review, have some common sence and dont put a hot stone on your counter top! These stones are a little thin, but if you take care of them, they will last a long time. Nice price on a good product.

"Great !", It is so wonderful that I keep on buying them ......everybody in my family wants one! The pizza is wonderful every time. A must have!

"Circle in a square", Good luck - better have some serious counter protection when this 500 degree rock comes out of the oven. I could have bought 1 24" inch floor tile for 2 bucks - same thing.
