"Work as advertise", This blast gate is part of the ductowork system provided by Grizzly. The inside of the blast get is sealed to avoid leaks. There is a screw provided to lock the item in place but I feel that it tend to pinch the front portion of the gate and cause a small leak at the back. I got better result not using the screw alltogether and letting the suction close the gate (just make sure) that you mount it on the correct side.
I own 4 of thoses and one is a little sticky once in a while.
