"Deni Meat Tenderizer" GREAT Product! Don't know how I went through life without it for so long a definite MUST-HAVE if you are serious about cooking and grilling and want to achieve superb results in the shortest possible time and least amount of work "Deni Blade Meat Tenderizer" This meat tenderizer is surprisingly sturdy it has a spring action and cuts through meat easily. I was impressed with the product for the money. It is easy to wash and the cover makes it dust free. I use it frequently and am very happy with it. If you don't have a cutting board like I didn't it is best to use one with this tool. "Deni MT48 48 Blade Meat Tenderizer" The Deni MT48 48 Blade Meat Tenderizer is the best item I have ordered thus far. It will tenderize the toughest of meat. My only regret is I did not find this sooner. "Deni 48 tenderizer" BUY IT! Price varies, $19.00 is a good entry point. Used it on a Sirloin bottom Ball cut, normally TOUGH. Pricked liberally, both sides, a 'lil Adolph tenderizer, 3 min. in a G.Foreman grill. Literally fell apart, tender, tasty. I like cubed steaks, but the Butcher version is always full of hidden tough gristle that clogs my teeth. With this wonderful tool, I can prepare a Kill-fur steak meal from a cut that I can trim and inspect. Clean up is no problem, but I store it in the 'fridge or freezer just in case residue will become a problem bacteria-wise. If it gets too gooped up, I'll hit it with my "scunci" steam cleaner. The steam cleaner is great for cleaning the non-submersible G.Foreman thing, incidentally. "Very happy with this" this item is great. I was making Swiss Steak with a fork previously, so I was very glad to get this and I think I made a great choice. works well and cleans up well with a spray bottle with bleach water.

What our customer's say! "Good Eats Rule", I bought this after watching a show called Good Eats...Alton showed how to make country fried steak ...being someone who wanted to take round steak and make it tender...it worked...my wife loved my cooking and the round steak was fork tender...needless to say it was a good day for me ...when you make your wife happy ...everybody is happy...ha ha ...seriously it works and does what it says it will do ...I use it now on all meat ...except meat with bones ...do not wish to mess up the tool...I love my tool as I can buy cheaper cuts of meat and make them sirloin tender... "Excellent for tough meat", I heard about this from Good Eats years ago, but never got around to getting it. Now that I finally have, I'm very happy. It works great with tough meats, particularly if braising is the method of cooking. It won't completely cut down the long stringy fibers in some cuts of meat, but it helps. Of course, cutting those meats smaller across the grain is very good too. In short, this is the very best tool I've found for dealing with tough meats. It cuts a lot of that connective tissue that long, slow cooking will finish off into nice tender meat. It also helps meats that are going to be cooked faster too, like grilling or frying. Highly recommend! "Thanks for the tip, Alton Brown", We, too, bought this on Alton Brown's (Good Eats) recommendation. What a score. I agree that it's well made, durable, and I love that all parts are dishwasher safe! I bet I never buy another meat tenderizer again. I recommend this to all my friends. Two thumbs up! "I am glad I got it.", I too purchased this because of Alton Brown's show on The Food Network. I have found it to be a solid product (unlike most items these days). It is sharp and the stainless steel blades make it a snap to keep clean. If you, like myself, love to cook, then buy this product, it is the best meat tenderizer you will find, bar none. "Awesome....", The feel of this product is really solid. Might have trouble cleaning it because the blade is not removable like the more expensive models. ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "What more can I say...It really does work", I have seen this product for years but was leary to buy it. I now can say in all honesty it does work just like it says. Meats are so easy to tenderize in an instant. Be carefull of your fingers as it is very very sharp. "Great Meat Temderizer", I already had one of these tenderizers and I liked it so well I bought two more for friends of mine as gifts. "Like Budda....", Used on some thicker cuts of steak, lower in cost but usually had good flavaor. It was like we were eating some Filets!! Fantastic.... ""Recession" buster!", I saw Alton Brown and Emeril using a Jaccard Meat Tenderizer on their shows so did some research and decided on the Deni 48 blade meat tenderizer since it is a trusted brand name, it got rave reviews and of course, it was a lower price but the same quality. I entitled my review "Recession" buster since I can now buy a chuck roast, slice it length wise, then into steak portions and use my new Deni and voila! I have a perfect steak for grilling which is a fraction of the price of other steaks. I have purchased a lot of kitchen gadgets in my lifetime (most wound up in a garage sale) but this is a must have for any kitchen! "Tenderized Meat is Almost a Guarantee", Great product! Recommend if possible using it when the meat is defrosted enough that the tines will penetrate with ease. Tenderizing this way will keep from the meat being squashed. ![]() |
