"A Must Have" If you own a Foodsaver vacuum sealer, then these accessories are a must have. The sealing lids and especially the bottle stoppers are great. I have had no problems with the cannisters and they make storing leftovers a snap. "The canisters are junk" Do not buy this the canisters crack after a few weeks of use. They would not honor the warranty because I can't talk and they would only resolve the problem over the phone. That is a violation of Federal law. It's not bad enough I was disabled when I was shot in the face but these jerks are taking advantage of that. "Dry food storage" Love this system, especially the mason jar feature. I can utilize my mason jars for all kinds of dry goods and get fresher results than just screwing on the lid. Great if you harvest your own herbs and such! "I like MOST of this Set....the canisters crack!!" We bought one for Christmas and love the food sealer. We also bought this kit. We loved everything EXCEPT the canisters. All the canisters have cracked. So far, still holding the seal, but they are getting progressively worse, so it's just a matter of time. These aren't exactly cheap, so I think it's safe to say that we should expect bettter. If you read the review for the 3-piece canister set, you will see extensive complaints about the cannisters. UPDATE: Some of the products in this kit are very useful, but not the FoodSaver 3-Piece Canister Set . I include this link so that you can see JUST the reviews on the canisters. These reviews go back to March 2005 and I see other reviews as recent as August 2007...so why hasn't this problem been fixed yet? The sealer is an excellent product, but these canisters are useless. None of my original cannisters hold their seal. It's not a matter of how you treat the canisters...they just crack under pressure. "Looking for the best buy?" Just check the Product Descriptions for the $49.95 Completer Set and the Deluxe Completer Set for $79,95, and you will find that they are exactly the same list of products. So you get nothing extra for the extra $30. Are they crazy???

What our customer's say! "Canisters Don't Hold Seal", One of my canisters have NEVER held a seal! Poor quality control! What a waste of money! "Accessory Set", Bags- The bags that came with the set are handy as I do not need to measure out and cut to length. This makes for quicker vacuuming. Universal lid- came in handy as I opened several cans of pineapple to make a ham and had part of one left over. I used the lid to vacuum seal the can which has lasted several weeks since it has been opened. Only issue I found was the can and the top of the universal lid needs to be clean to make a good seal. Canisters- I was leery when I first bought the set has I have heard many complaints about the canisters cracking. To this point in time I have not had any of mine crack. But I do not clean them out in the dishwasher. I am not sure if that has made a difference or not but, they have worked wonderfully to this point. Hopefully they do not crack in the future. Bottle stoppers- I gave this review a 4 instead of a 5 because of the bottle stoppers. The first few times I have used them they worked great, but since; have lost suction every few days in the several bottles of wine I have tried them in. I cannot tell if it is user error or product defect. Jar sealer- works extremely well and cheaper than the canister set. Also after opening a canned jar, it helps keep it fresher longer, like opening up a jar of pickles that have been home canned and vacuuming them to keep them fresh longer. Overall a great starter set if you have already bought a Food Saver vacuum unit. However, like I mentioned before; The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating was because of the bottle stoppers. As they did not work as well as I would have hoped they would. "Food Saver Accessory Set", Overall, I was satisfied with the price and fast delivery. It's just too bad that I had to but an accessory kit just to get a replacement vacuum hose for my main unit! After perusing the manufactures website, they don't even list this as an item you can purchase seperatly. This is an easy item to misplace and they should definetly have listing so you can just purchase a new hose by itself. The accessories I received were of great quality though! "Tillia Food Saver Accessories", All I can say is, "I live by Food Saver alone". I love my food saver and all the accessories. One of the smartest purchases I have ever made!! "Works as promised and on time", I can't say enough about the foodsaver and the accessories for it. We now use this item 5--6 times a day.
