"Nice Looking Set", I bought a 7 piece set (just like this 4 piece one). Still haven't figured out what to do with the three smaller canisters, so maybe the four piece set would have been fine.
The size is adequate for keeping flour, sugar, rice and tea (or similar items). The clasps aren't as straight as I'd like but do lock OK.
They look good on the counter and I've had no trouble with weevils or anything, so it has a tight seal. An earlier set that I had (another company) ended up with dried out, brittle seals. Oggi says they will replace the seal if this happens with these.


"These canisters are not "airtight" at all", I purchased these canisters due to their claim at being "airtight". They are so far from being airtight it is absolutely meaningless: I placed water in each of the four containers, and clamped the lid down tight. I then turned each one over to see if they dribbled a little. They didn't dribble a little: The water actually came *pouring* out. This means these canisters aren't even vaguely airtight. Not even a little bit. (This can be extremely dangerous if you are placing powders or grains in these canisters expecting them to be sealed, when in reality moisture and bugs can *easily* slip in and spoil or rot the contents).

"Good baker's rack.", We were looking for a baker's rack in pale wood for a while. This one seems to be doing the trick -- and for not that much $$ compared to many out there. Pretty easy to put together and hardly a wobble. Lots of good deep shelf space to use.

"Stair-steps...", This set fits nicely with my previous 'set of three' purchased new about three years ago. The nice thing about the new 'set of four' is they are in between my previously owned sizes. I now proudly display a full set of SEVEN, in perfect stair-steps on my counter!
