"I'm pleased with what I bought!" This is a genuine product by the Thermos company. Whether it has Nissan technology from the Japanese car company, I don't know. But it is equipped with superior TherMax insulation and comes with a 5 year guarantee. When pouring hot liquids, the outside metal hull will barely change temperature- up to 10 degrees Fahrenheit. It features a foldable plastic handle that slides in or out for improved storage or mobility, and has a sleek looking appearance. I don't know why the description listed "pouring without removing the stopper" as one of the available functions, but that looks unsuitable to me. Although this is made in China, it is a high quality thermos, and a good pick for the price. "Thermos Nissan Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Bottle" I had the previous version for many years, still have it, but wanted another. This product is very well made, well engineered, and functionally beautiful. I am pleased the quality is still maintained. I would recommend this as a first choice. "Thermos Nissan Stainless Steel - leaks" The thermos is great at keeping coffee hot for hours. I started taking it to work and was loving it, until is started to leak. I rinsed it out daily to clean it and never used anything inside to clean it but when it is full, it leaks. So, if you like hot coffee that drips on you - you'll love this. "Still looks great after 10 years" I received this as a Christmas gift 10 years ago instead of the Stanley thermos I'd asked for, but I can't imagine a better product. I LOVE IT. It still looks great and works great. Because the lining is metal instead of plastic, if you accidentally leave coffee & milk in it for a few months (I just did that), when you DO clean out the resulting nastiness, there's no residual odor or taste. Clean as a whistle. It keeps your beverage nice and hot, and fills up my work mug twice, perfectly. If you're careful not to cross-thread the lid, it can be carried upside down with no leakage. This is a well-styled product, as well. I feel like I'm transporting a top-secret radioactive substance when I carry it. ;)

What our customer's say! "Nissan Thermos", My bf brought this on our camping trip. We would make coffe at 9-10pm and pour it in the thermos. When we woke the next moring at 9-10am, the coffee was STILL TOO HOT for my princess lips. I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to HOT coffee but = This is an amazing thermos! Held the heat for 12+ hours!!! I'm going to buy one, right now. "Love it, but be careful how you clean it.", I have been using this thermos for several years now and have loved it, but I ruined the stopper the other day. I found out that bleach cannot be used to clean the stopper because chlorine destroys rubber and just one time washing it in a bleach solution and you've ruined it. Your coffee or tea will not stay hot afterwards. So be careful and clean your stopper in either a solution of baking soda plus white vinegar or use denture tablets. "Good Product and Good Customer Service.", I purchases this Thermos a couple years ago. It worked well. I picked up another used one at Goodwell without a stopper. I ordered a new stopper online and it was reasonably priced. It was a good thing I had a working spare because the first one lost it's vaccum. I could feel the hot or cold on the outside of the bottle. The product has a "Life Time" warranty against defects. I retuned the faulty unit and was sent a replacement immediately. Except for the inconvenience of getting a replacement, it has served me well and I would buy another.Thermos Nissan Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Bottle "Hot, Hot, Hot!", Nissan Vacuum products are second to none, as far as I'm concerned. And I've bought and tried every kind of knock-off or alternative there is. Nissan always wins. This is my 7th Nissan product and I love it. The coffee thermos I had before was more than fine, but I just wanted a newer, sleeker version. Your beverages are guranteed to say HOT or COLD for hours, and warm or cool overnight! My Nissan H2O bottle keeps my water ice cold all day the first day and then cool for days while in my car. This is awesome, considering I have to endure sweltering Texas summers. This thermos is great and I would recommend it to anyone. "Buy another product", I bought this thermos to replace an identical one that was at least 15 years old and was beginning to look grungy (but still worked perfectly). This one looks almost identical and seemed like a great fit, until I noticed it leaked. It does not leak from the top, but from the sides where apparently the interior cylindar is leaking. I saw this same complaint from another purchaser, but just thought they had one defective item. Now I wish I had taken their advice. We dug the old one out of the trash and will be returning this one.
