"good unit so far"
So far this unit works perfectly as anyone could want. I followed the directions, used "Activia" vanilla as the starter, with only whole milk. It is great. This slightly more expensive model has the auto shutoff and beep that I think makes it easier, and less worrysome.

"Yoghurt Maker."
I have now had my yogurt maker for about 2 months - in the beginning it took me awhile to produce yoghurt that was acceptable.
The recipe booklet with the machine is in my opinion 'only a guidline'.
After a bit of tweeking with the recipe I am now happy with the result, although I have now resorted to using a 'commercial yoghurt starter'.
Overall I am happy and at least I know what is in my yoghurt...

"Donvier yogurt maker jars"
Let me start with I am quite pleased with my Donvier yogurt maker. It makes wonderful yogurt at a fraction of the cost of store bought yogurt.
The cups are durable- they go through the dishwasher at least once a week. However, they could be a little more drop resistant. My husband knocked one off the shelf in the fridge and it shattered.

"Good Product"
I bought this for the wife and she really appreciates having them. It is nice to be able to make another round of yogurt prior to running out instead of waiting until you are out of yogurt and then waiting until the next day for more. Also, it is nice to have a few days of leeway in case you can't get around to it that day. Ranked it a 4 instead of five because I am not a big fan of cooking food in plastic and wish glass yogurt jars were available, especially because I anticipate this being a long-term appliance.

"A must for me"
These are a must for me because it allows me to have two different batches of yogurt so I always have some made.

What our customer's say!

"I like glass ones so much better", Have both these and glass yogurt containers. Give me the glass hands down any time any where. The lids that screw on and off with the glass ones just seem to function better and easier. These may take up a tad less room in your fridge as they are narrower and taller over all but glass seems cleaner and I can't say enough good things about the glass jars. Also I will reach for the kerr or ball 4 ounce regular lid jars when I need an extra yogurt jar or two over these once again. I find the plastic lids on the acrylic jars hard to remove without disturbing the yogurt. Yes I like my yogurt with a firm non stirred up texture. Otherwise it goes into smoothy style drinks and it doesn't matter. Each to their own but glass is my cup of yogurt and choice...these plastic ones now sit down in the dark basement shelf...waiting quietly at least. PS you can get plastic screw on caps for all regular canning jars and also most mayo plastic lids fit them as well. But by all means MAKE YOGURT no matter what your preferences of tools be.

"You need extra cups if you eat yogurt regularly", I bought the Cuisipro Donvier yogurt maker. It makes great yogurt; however, there are only 8 cups (one batch). My family can go through 8 cups of yogurt in just a few days. I promptly had to order the extra cups. I recommend that you go ahead and get the additional cups - you won't regret it.

"Nice jars for a backup set, fits Deni yogurt maker too.", I bought these as a second set for my Deni yogurt maker because my fiance was worried about me taking the original glass jars to work (and so he could have his own set). These jars are more durable than the glass ones and have better fitting lids so they don't leak. They are a little taller than the original jars so the lid of the yogurt maker doesn't fit quite right. I cover it with a kitchen towel to keep it warm and the yogurt turns out fine.

"Having the extra ones really helps!", The set of extra containers that goes with the Donvier Yogurt Maker is very helpful to have on hand. They make it possible to keep a fresh supply of yogurt always available. The plastic cups are safe in the top shelf of the dishwasher and the lids fit tightly and make the cups leakproof.

"Great Yogurt Maker", Makes great yogurt in about half the time stated in the user guide.
I was disappointed that the jars were made of plastic (not glass) which was not disclosed on Amazon.com.

"Jars!", These jars are lasting but not ever lasting. They do break not easily but they do.Lid always stay in place.

"Wonderful for all yogurt makers!!", These storage containers are PERFECT, although I did not purchase them for the Cuisipro machine. I have a machine that makes yogurt in one big container but these jars are PERFECT for portioning and storage--my kids can grab a container of yogurt and go! Very durable, top rack dishwasher safe, and very versatile. I would buy two sets so that you always have yogurt on hand.

"I enjoy the yogurt I make with those jars", I got the additional set to use with my Donivier Yogurt Maker. Those jars are nice although the lids are a bit tough to close. But I love my yogurts so much and my daughter eats them every day. Definitely a good investment. The second set is useful so I never run out of jars should I want to make another batch while the first batch is still not finished.

"Very Satisfied", The Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Maker Jars, Set of 8 are excellent because when I still have a couple of jars of yogurt left to use, I can start another lot of yogurt, or progurt. I use progurt culture, and am very satisfied.

"Good Yogurt - Bad Timer", Makes good yogurt however the timer is limited to 19 hours & 59 minutes. We do our yogurt for 24 hours which gretaly increase cultures and eliminates sugars. With this yogurt maker we must reset to go for the full 24 hours.
