This holder gives her back her much needed space, it set's up easily, holds any size/style of bound book or magazine and folds up pretty slim for storage when not in use. "Not Just For Cookbooks", I take this to meals whenever I'm eating by myself. It folds flat so it's easy to put into a knapsack or atache case, and it eliminates the problem of trying to hold a book in one hand while wielding a fork or other gastronomical weaponry with the other. Almost every time I use it someone will ask where I got it. The plastic does scratch over time, but it's easy enough to replace.

"Wonderful product for an every day cook!", I love this cook book holder. It adjust to fit any size book. I keep it on my kitchen counter displaying the cook book I'll be using that day.
For any one out there that enjoys cooking you will appreciate the quality of the product and the convenience it offers, the plexi glass protects your precious books from any splatters and it's so easy to clean just wipe off with damp cloth. There are many choices out there but this one is worth the $. I would make this purchase all over again.

"Acrylic clouds over time", I have had this cookbook holder for several years. It is very versatile -- accomodating magazines, clippings, large cookbooks, etc. My only complaint is that over time the acrylic has clouded up where I needed to clean it with something other than water (it is, of course, in the "line of fire" when I'm cooking). Perhaps if I'd used a special acrylic cleaner, I could have avoided this.
