"Stapled in China", Beware of the description. Product features states: "Crafted in Austria". The label on the brotform states: "Made in P.R.C.", which is a clever way of writing "The Peoples Republic of China". I'm assuming "Crafted" means stapled, which was done poorly on the one I received. Shop around, you can probably find a cane basket similar to this for about $5 at your local Pottery Barn or Pier 1 Imports. This one will probably do the job, but I'm sure it only cost Frieling about $1, far less than the $35 I paid. The return shipping is worth more than the basket. Avoid this like the plague!
