"Great little sucker"
Gave my large clumsy Dirt Devil away to replace it with this small powerful easy to manipulate vacuum. I have wooden floors and needed something to quickly use when the bunnies gathered around the computer equipment and other small area items. If I had a carpetted home, Id probably need a real vacuum, but this one is perfect for me in my small apartment. The large vacuum was a deterent because it required energy to drag out of the closet etc. This vac is powerful!

"Wrong product"
I ordered this vacuum and was sent a "CleanFast" Model OC-910 that looks pretty much like this one. I don't know if CleanFast bought Orca, but I expect the same product I ordered. I haven't opened the box yet to try the vacuum because I'm considering returning it.

"Sturdy Little Vacuum!"
This was an absolutely fantastic buy! Although the cord is a little inconvenient, this vacuum has more suction power than my regular upright. It is perfect for small clean up jobs around the house, car, etc... I would buy it again without a doubt and at $20, it is a bargain!

"GREAT MINI VAC"
This has great power and much better than those cordless vacs which you will have to throw away after a year or so.

"Decent vac, but mine was used."
OK...in all honesty, I purchased this item simply because it, combined with a full-size vaccum that I was already purchasing, qualified me for a promotional gift certficate greater than its $14.99 price. However, it comes in handy for tasks such as cleaning out the car - my old Dustbuster doesn't hold its charge long enough to finsh anymore.

Upon attempting use one of the included attachments with the device for the firstt time, my wife was unable to insert it in the unit. Upon inspecting it, I discovered a good chunk of what appeared to be a similar attachment already jammed down inside the vac. I was able to crack it with a screwdriver, and remove the pieces with a needlenose pliers. It was the tail end of one of the attachments, and had been obviously snapped off.

This did, however, make me wonder exactly who was misrepresenting the vac - is Amazon knowingly selling used equipment as new, or is it their vendor?

Used status aside, this performed as well as could be expected for a $15 device. It sucks, and in vaccum-ery, that's a good thing.

What our customer's say!

"THANKS TO REVIEWERS - SAVED ME FROM BUYING THIS ITEM", Just wanted to thank the reviewers..........saved me from buying this one. I'm going for the Shark for about the same amount of money on eBay - ALSO, anyone shopping for these vacs, please note that even the Shark comes in various suction strengths and power, depending on what you need it for.

THANKS PREVIOUS PURCHASERS for your comments! You saved me from making a poor purchase! :-)

"OK, but already looking for a new hand vac", I bought this vacuum in 2005, mainly to keep the couches clean of dog hair. This vacuum works OK, but only gets a little bit of the hair. Cup fills up real fast. My mom has a Shark and that just sucked up the dirt and hair. So I will probably replace this with a newer Shark.

"Not really worth it", The OC-910 is an okay hand held vacuum. It is pretty powerful for its size, but it has two vents on its side that constantly blows out hot air while on. You have to go back to each spot a couple times just to get the mess it blew away.

Its a good vacuum, just not what I expected.

"Too Hot to Handle", The vacuum I received quickly overheated and became too hot to hold or handle. The suction was great and the size very convienent. But the heat from the motor made it impossible to use safely.

"Good vacuum, but received a used unit", This vacuum performs adequately. It's not as heavy as it looks. The only wide attachment has a brush on it, so it's not great for vacuuming up large areas of course sawdust, for example. The only other problem is that because it's so small, the outflow ducts on the sides of the unit are rather close to the inflow, so you get two lateral blasts of hot air blowing very close to what you're vacuuming, blowing some of it around. (The trick is to vacuum AWAY from yourself, not towards, so that you pick up the dust before the outflow vents blow on it.)

Also, like another reviewer, the vacuum I received was used, with the previous owner's pubic hair in the filter trap. Like any store, Amazon (or perhaps the vacuum's distributor) resells returned merchandise. That's fine. They just need to be much more careful when assessing the condition of returned items. Clearly, they don't bother checking the inside of returned units as well as they check the outside. (In the end, Amazon refunded me for this without too much red tape.)

"Fantastic for $20!", The one thing that I would change about this vacuum is that it has a cord, which of course makes it a bit more cumbersome than a cordless. However, given the fact that no cordless I've ever used has this kind of power, it's a fair trade off. It sucks beautifully and comes with attachments for various jobs. Got it for $20 and I am very pleased that I did.
