"Highly recommended" I have bought several of the bundt cake keepers, not only to use as a cake keeper, but I use them for pastries, muffins, and like items. It helps keep them fresh and protected from contamination and easy access. Just a note, do not use the plate to heat up items in the microwave as it will begin to spider crack. I learned the hard way. I do recommend this product as a durable ware for cakes and pastries. I will continue to buy more as I need them. "Cover For Your Bundt Cake" This lid is a nice compliment to the Nordic Ware Bundt pan. It is not flimsy & I like the locking lid feature. It looks nice to take to someones house. Good value for the price. Doesn't easily scratch up. "Too easy to crack" Looks pretty but this cake keeper is essentially a bad concept. It's made to be carried around and at the same time breaks as easily as fine china. It's like if someone made a briefcase out of pure glass. "It's fragile but workable" I was gifted with one of these and am still considering whether I need another one because I make at least two rum bundt cakes during holiday seasons. Mine is over a year old, and so far, there are no cracks or other breakage, even though I have run it through the dishwasher. I did read the other reviews and am very careful in handling it and don't let my husband near it for helpings. It is very helpful to have this for transporting cakes at the holidays. I'm basically waiting for Amazon to run it for $10 again with super saver shipping. "Bundt Cake Keeper" I didn't know this type of cake cover existed, I've been putting too small cake covers on my perfect bundt cakes. Now my cakes are displayed with class.

What our customer's say! "Flimsy", While this product is a perfect size for storing a cake, it is not good quality. The base of the cake keeper began cracking after only a few uses. The crack quickly grew larger, and I had to throw it out. Don't waste your money. "Have your cake and eat it too", I love my cake keeper, like all cake keepers I don't try and carry it around by the lid regardless of how well it "locks" into place. But when it comes to presentation and storage this product is great. With it I can keep a cake on my table for a good week without the cake drying out and getting stale, plus it looks great. "Bundt Cake Keeper", I bought this even though there had been some harsh reviews for it. It's really nice and a guarantee for 5 years. I love it. "A Beautiful Way to Display Cakes! ", I read the reviews, and was a bit concerned by the comments regarding the fragility, and durability of these Cake Keepers. But.......................................... I have 2 of them, and am ordering a third! These are lovely, easy to use, keep your cakes ( or Meringue or Cream Pies ) very fresh , and are so much lighter than the glass cake keepers. I do not plan on using the dishwasher to clean these, and will not allow sharp knives to be used upon the surface of the tray portion. I am very impressed with the quality, and beauty of these Nordic Ware items. Nordic Ware has always provided fine quality, and beautiful baking objects. There is also a rectangular cake keeper in this same Nordic Ware series. I highly recommend it, as it is perfect for Brownies, flat cakes, loaf cakes, cookies, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! You MUST try at least one of these! "Great cake keeper/carrier", This is a great cake keeper/carrier! I would definitely buy another one ... would give it 5 stars except it scratches fairly easily. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Plastic seem cheap", With proper care, this product does it's job of helping safely transport a cake to it's desination. I don't expect it to last nearly as long as the bundt cake baking pans. It's probably overpriced for the quality. "Love it!", I am delighted with my bundt cake keeper! It keeps my bundt cakes fresh and moist for so long. Since I usually bake Pistachio bundt cakes with homemade whipped cream, I store it in the refrigerator. My first cake stayed moist and fresh for a little more than a week! I wouldn't want to be without it! My first bundt care keeper arrived promply, but was broken in places. I think that this was due to shipping. However, when I notified Amazon of the problem, I had an overnight delivery of a perfect new Nordic Ware Deluxe Bundt Cake Keeper the following day! Great dealing with Amazon! Thank you so much! "Great idea, cracks easily", My brother accidentally dropped the cake keeper on the floor after washing, and CRACK! all the way from the handle up to the top of the keeper. I only owned it 3 days before it was broken. It was diappointing because it seemed like such a great way to store my cakes! "SENSITIVE TO TEMPERATURE CHANGES", I have granite counter tops and when I placed a barely warm cake on the bottom part of this keeper, the bottom proceeded to slowly crack from one side to the other. I also took this to work during winter, about 45 degrees, and thus another crack developed. It is still usable, but I worry that it will completely sever. The keeper looks great, but the plastic is thin and apparently is not that durable. "Great cake keeper!", This cake keeper is very attractive and is well made. Top locks on easily cake stays in one place on dish. Dish makes a good serving plate and seems too withstand the use of a steak knife to cut the cake. |
