"Honeywell Turbo Force Fan"
I am happy with my purchase. It is so easy to move to different areas in my apartment. It produces as much cool air as the larger fans. I give it five stars ++++.

"Loud!"
I purchased this fan for white noise, and found it too loud even on it's lowest setting. I realize "too loud" is relative, but I found this fan produced more noise than comparable fans I own. I can't imagine having this fan in an office.

"Nice Fan, a great price"
this fan moves a lot of air. it is too noisy and ill probably take it back because of that. It has 3 speeds and i wish there were 2 more lower speeds. 2 of the rubber feet were missing and unfortunately it left scratches\dents in my wood floor.

-my dream fan would Not be made in China
-my dream fan would be really quiet

anybody have a better fan for me?

"Honeywell HT804 Super Turbo High Performance Fan"
This is a very nice little fan, quite capable of providing airflow in a bedroom. It is very quiet.

"It's inexpensive, don't expect much"

This fan sounded neat because some previous reviews talked about how powerful it is. Reality is this a small fan, with a very small motor. It does OK for it's size, but does not move what I would consider all that much air even on high. Is it noisy, yeah a little, not unexpected given it's price range.

The owners manual gives diagrams for air circulation for whole rooms, up and down stairs, etc. That idea is extraordinarily optimistic considering the lack of power for this fan.

This fan should really be considered a cubicle fan, better then the clip on fans costing one half as much, but certainly far short of the oscillating table fans you can get for just a few dollars more. Unless you like overrated mediocrity, there are better choices.

Which brings me back to the fan description itself, "Super Turbo High Performance" is either hilarious or a sick joke. You can decide.

What our customer's say!

"IT A GREAT FAN!", I like my Fan very much specialy in the bathroom!

Thanks!
C.A

"Overall OK", This fan is just okay. It is small and needs to be put up on a desk or table. On the floor it won't reach a bed or couch since the tilt will only go up so far. Also, it is very loud (louder than other fans I've owned). My biggest complaint is that it cannot be opened to be cleaned. The blades get very dusty and the front does not pop off to give access for cleaning..kind of disappointing.

"Looks great, moves the air, not too noisy", I bought one, loved it, bought several more (they come in black and white). Looks great, moves the air - makes a big difference! - and not very noisy except on highest setting. Still is quiet compared to most fans.

"Not as good as Vornado", This fan shares a similar vortex design as Vornado. However I compared them side by side and it was immediately apparent the Honeywell unit does not measure up.

The Vornado really shoots out a column of air, this Honeywell unit doesn't seem to push air anywhere.

"Gets the job done", This fan is a little loud for it's compact size, but it really gets the job done. I use it in the computer room and it's finally liveable in here. I'd recommend this fan, as long as a little noise doesn't bother you..

Read this reviews before You buy...

"fan", Not nearly a good as the equivalent Vornado. We had one of these Honeywell fans for years and it was great. The new one is not nearly the same quality. Poorly made and noisy. We returned this product and bought a Vornado.

"Great bedside fan.", This works great and really pushes out the air for it's tiny size. It's going on a couple months of use, 8+ hours each night, and no problems whatsoever.

"Powerful . . . Maybe Too Powerful", This is great value for the price. But even the lowest setting is a little too strong. And its fairly loud compared to your average table fan.

"Yes and No", Nice strong breeze. Good enough to ventilate one room (150 square feet) while painting. Too loud and powerful, even at the lowest setting, to be used as an office desk fan. Same goes for black. Missed stars for the accessibility of controls and also for noise/vibrations.

"An OK fan.", This little "Super Turbo" fan moves a lot of air, even on low speed. Physics wins out: with three diminutive blades, six inches across, it does so quite noisily. It's not insanely loud so kudos to the designers and the $15 price point. I bought a second one shortly after the first arrived on my doorstep.

Perfect for common areas in the home, for me it would be intrusive while sleeping. For those needing a "white noise" generator, this one will put out all you need and then some. Spend some time near this fan, turn it off and the silence is deafening!

I have one mounted six feet up on the narrow wall of my 22 by 10 foot kitchen. On high speed it creates a nice breeze across the whole room. Another is similarly mounted in a bathroom and does a quick job of de-steaming after a hot shower and keeping cool while finishing up.

Even though I have a large floor fan in the garage, I'm thinking of getting a third HT804 to place next to the workbench.

I am puzzled about something, though. The product description here tells this can be used "...as a whole room air circulator or for Direct Focused cooling." Similarly, the box says, "Use as an air circulator or for focused cooling," along with a picture showing three arrows pointing in different directions. These words imply dual modes of operation but neither the instructions or the fan itself indicate how this could be. Make no mistake: this fans blows in one and only one direction - straight out the front! One can surmise a communication disconnect between the engineers and the technical writers and package designers.

You can't go wrong at this price if you want to move lots of air with a small footprint. But, if you're wanting quiet operation, you'll need something larger and more money.
