Others say...

"Awesome"
I purchase this item for a christmas gift for my boyfriend he loves it. He would like to purchase another one but would like to have a bigger one

"An Experiences User"
I am a very experienced user of Innova. Innova is I guess you can say is the parent company of Ultrex which is a line of nonstick cookware.

Innova is not know for quality and this product is no different. There is a 25 year warranty on the Ultrex, I had mine for 6 years and the nonstick coating is off. You can return the product for another but yes, you have to pay for the shipping and if your pot is oversized, you have to pay UPS or whomever to make you a box and thats another charge.

The customer service is not world class. I had to wait almost 3 months for a replacement. The workmanship is horrible, the product is made in China, however, I've had other things made in China that were of great quality, so I don't know what is up with Innova.

I suggest that if you find a product made by Innova, avoid it! Save yourself the aggrevation! This product doesn't deserve 1 star.

"Just what I ordered!"
I got the exact producted that I wanted, for the price that I thought it should be, in the time that I needed it. What more could you ask for?

"This is great"
I have two pieces of Innova cast iron cookware and plan to buy more. I own 5 pieces of Le Crueset and I do love it, but it is NO better than this is and this is MUCH cheaper. I have experienced NONE of the problems with the Innova that I have seen described here. Oh and by the way, my Le Crueset does chip too with time and wear but it still works well too. Not sure what these negative people expected, but my experience has been great. I am, by the way, a gourmet cook who puts my tools through pretty rigorous workouts.

"love it, works great"
I wanted Le Crueset, but could not afford that much money. I bought an Innova 4.5 at the local bimart and love it. I had bought a used Le ceuset off Ebay, and it was truly worn out.
My family really liked the pot and I liked cooking in it, but clean up was a mess.
I bought one of these at Bi mart, and I have nothing to complain about, good cooking in the oven, easy clean up. Food does taste better!

Learn to adjust cooking time , turn oven down 25 degrees and be patient.
I love these pans for slow roast and braising. They take a liitle longer to warm up, so keep the heat down and be patient.

What our customer's say!

"Innova Dutch Oven", I can't tell the difference in this product and Le Creuset. I got this for Christmas 2 years ago and use it often. No problems! Funny thing is that the negative reviews seem to be on all sites with the same wording, probably same person. No bubbling or chipping here, but I have a ceramic top stove and it works fine. Great for oven roasting as well, very tight lid and moist cooking.

"Dont buy this product - dangerous and should be recalled!", Dont buy this. The company Innova I dont think even exists anymore. Their customer support never got back to me. My inside enamel started to crack and then suddenly the enamel popped out while I was heating a little oil in it. Thankfully I noticed it or else it might have been injested if I had continued to cook in it. I threw mine in the garbage. I originally bought it at Sears 1 year ago. Horrible, horrible product.

"So Far, So Good", So far this Dutch Oven has worked well and not disappointed. Nothing great, but then again I paid very little for it. Holds heat well. There is one chip on handle that I must have done recently. It will be interesting to see if it develops into something worse. For someone starting out, this is a good beginner item. I gave one as a gift.

"You get what you pay for!", Inova produced products for HSN and they touted lifetime warranty etc. Just try for customer service----does not exist. They had a major recall on one of their lines of cookware. Pots were blowing up. This stuff is made in China and in no way is the quality of Le Cruset or Staub. This is bottom of the line for enameled cast iron!

"Innova Cast Iron Dutch Oven (5qt)", Extremely delighted with this product. Not only does it perform flawlessly, it's beautiful to look at. Combine that with the best price anywhere, thanks to Amazon and Target, and you have perfection! Thanks.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"No problems here", I've had this dutch oven for over a year now and have had no problems with it. I use a ceramic glass cooktop (if that makes a difference) which is why I bought the porcelain enameled cast iron. I just can't afford Le Creuset!

"DO NOT BUY!!!", DO NOT BUY - you will have problems with Innova cookware like everybody else does and Innova will not do anything about it!!!

INNOVA SELLS FAULTY COOKWARE DOESN'T HONOR WARRANTY!!!

I would give Innova line of cookware 0 stars if I could because there is absolutely nothing positive about it. When I first got this pot it seemed ok. But after enamel started chipping off (very common problem with Innova cookware, as I later discovered), I contacted customer service and all they told me was:
"That would not be covered by the warranty because it does not affect the function of the cookware."
One line, no "sorry", "thank you" or whatever. Not to mention this ridiculous and dirty way to dishonor warranty.

DO NOT BUY or you will be giving your money to thiefs!

"Poor Product and Poor Customer Service", I used this dutch oven according to the manufacturer's instructions and after the second use, part of the enamel on the bottom of the pot bubbled up and chipped off. I called the customer assistance number and found them to be rude and not very helpful. I have not decided if I will return the product to Innova since they require that the customer pay for shipping the damaged item. I will never buy a product from this manufacturer again!

"Innova Dutch Oven", Have purchased the 5 QT version of this Dutch Oven. During the second use of it, the bottom layer developed a bubble, separated from there, making this utensil totally useless. I am now trying out the warranty and see if there really is an exchange for it.
