"Rust"
These knives cut well, but they rust with just one trip through the dishwasher. Wash them by hand.

"waa haa"
Miracle Blades are great. They stay sharp. excellent design/balance etc. For the price they are an exceptional value. I haven't used them on the walls or cans

"Profets before all else."
I received the knives rather quickly, but was disappointed that they were made in China, when it comes to the humanities,no one is lower then they are.
Life is cheap and so are their products. By continued business with them, you are condoning and supporting their heinous activities.

"Excellent"
The range of opinions on the Miracle Blades
seems to be quite large, and I find this
amazing given my own experience with them,
which has been excellent.

I had purchased the Miracle Blades after having
been very disappointed with the Wusthofs I own.
Even new off the shelf from Macy's, or after
being professionally sharpened, the Wusthofs
never were even close to the Miracle Blades.
It reminds me of Cross pens -- beautifully made,
very durable -- but they can't write very well
(skipping, etc.)! By contrast, Bic pens are
cheaply made, but they do write well. The same
goes for the Wusthofs (and perhaps also Henkels,
Sabatier, etc. -- but I haven't tried them).
There is no question about their durability -- but
they aren't sharp!

When they first arrived, the Miracle Blades could
cut through paper like an X-Acto knife. After a
couple of years, they have "dulled" somewhat -- as
some other reviewers have pointed out. However, they
still cut very well! One reviewer suggested that is
because they have a serrated edge -- but not all of
them do. The cleaver and paring knife have straight
edges. Originally, I thought it might be due to the
hardness of the steel. The owner's manual lists it
as "Rockwell C-Scale Hardness Grade of 52." However,
I checked this figure, and a grade of 52 would put it
at the lower end of "very hard steel" -- i.e., the
type used for good knives. So, the steel hardness
couldn't be the reason.

The owner's manual also states that each blade has "small
stipples" which extend beyond the main cutting edge and
protect it. Perhaps this is the reason for the continuing
cutting ability despite the "apparent dullness."

Whatever the reason though, the Miracle Blades continue
to cut extremely well even after several years. I have
also not experienced the rusting mentioned by some others,
except for an occasional very slight amount of rust where
the blade meets the handle if I leave the knife in soapy
dish water too long (meaning several hours!). However,
this rust is minor, and can be scrubbed off without much
difficulty. (And, I shouldn't be leaving knives submerged
that long anyway!)

Whether the "dulled" Miracle Blades still cut better than
the Wusthofs is an interesting question: my Wusthofs are
packed away, and I haven't had a chance to compare them.
However, at least from memory, the Wusthofs were never
impressive -- but the Miracle Blades started out spectacularly
and are still going well.

Even if you decide that you want to replace them every
couple of years, for the price they still seem to me to be
an extraordinary buy.

"Terrific knives for the money"
I've had these knives for five years and they are wonderful. I have had no problems with them rusting or with logo's falling off. Everyone should know that you never put knives in the dishwasher, even very expensive knives. I hand wash mine and dry it immediatly. They have retained their sharp edge and perform very well. I haven't tried to sharpen them as they are still very sharp. The rock n chop is wonderful and I use it every day. The fillet knive works very well as does the slicer and the steak knives. These might not be as high quality as some expensive knives, but they do a great job. No complaints here.

"Miracle Blade Knives", there are the best knives you can ever have
they never go dull and last forever
Salli

"great quality at an affordable cost", I was really happy about my knives purchase. My knives arrived just as described. It also arrived earylier then expected. thanks for great knives at an awesome low cost and speedy delivery.

"Love miracle blade knives", I gave the knives to my Mom for Mother's Day and she loves them! My Dad and brothers love them too.

"Worst Knives You can buy", My wife purchased these knives for me to use will deployed to Iraq. Within 1 week they were rusting. The seration causes tears in foods such as breads and tomatoes. The handle causes the knife to be akward at first until you adjust to it. I contacted the warranty personnel, for returns, they were not very helpful. Save you money! Buy another type of knife. The quote from chef Tony on the box should read " This will be the last time you buy knives from me"!You get what you pay for! What I paid, got me a crappy product. I would give this zero stars, but I had to put one to be able to submit the review.

"Don't get ripped off!", The first mistake I made was ordering these knives through the Miracle Blades website. Their prices are higher than Amazon and stores that carry these (Target, Walmart). I then waited 2 weeks and got just the wood block and 4 steak knives, with the rest of my order still pending. By then I had read reviews that talked about the rusting and bad customer service so I decided to cancel the rest of my order and return what I had. By the way, the steak knives weren't particularly sharp, either. So I returned the block, and they now claim they didn't receive the return. Since I didn't get a delivery receipt (2nd mistake), I may not get any refund even though I know darn well they received my return. My advice is to buy knives from a reputable company, which Miracle Blades is not. You can check out the complaints they've gotten at the Better Business Bureau too. I should have done my homework before ordering (got sucked in by the infomercial), so now I am paying the price. P.S., I can't figure out how to give this product 0 stars.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Excellent", Ah, yes they are cheap but they work and work well for the purpose intended. The whole set can be had for a fraction of the cost of one expensive, fancy kitchen knife. I particularly like the steak knives, they are effective and comfortable to hold, as are all the knives in the set. The molded, ergonomic grip is very comfortable and if you have to do alot of work in the kitchen with these knives, your hand won't get tired or get blisters. I haven't had any problems with rust but I take the effort to rinse and wipe them down after use. For the steel dummies out there, Stainless Steel does not mean that the steel will not rust so use common sense and don't leave them out for days without cleaning. These are excellent kitchen knives for the price.

"Miracle Blade Scam", This company can not be trusted. They are expert at deception. From their website to their so called "customer service". Believe all the negative reviews you read here. Save yourself some frustration and "money"......STAY AWAY

"no knife is for idiots!", I am a firearms and sporting goods dealer who owns litterally hundreds of knives. This is a very good utilitarian set that I have on my own counter! The knives do what they were in tended to do and do it well. NEVER place any knife in the dishwasher........if you do, expect it to rust, expecially if it is a high carbon steel! Improper care of any knife is the cause of 99% of rust problems. To have a good knife, you need the carbon. This set sits on my kitchen counter because I do not allow anyone to handle my $2000 knives. They do not know how to cut or to care for them. This set will take abuse and still do it's job. It will need sharpening, if you demand the razor edge, however. Within a year , depending on use it will need minor sharpening. This steel is soft, so it does not take any pressure to sharpen them. Again, no knife will remain razor sharp if it used! The serrated edge helps for the "ignorant" in abusing the blade and will allow the knife to be used long after it is really dulled and in need of sharpening. Bottom line: knives are tools that need to be properly used and cared for. If you don't know the rules, don't blame the tool. It's you!

"what's wrong with you?? don't buy!!", Easily the worst knives I've ever used. They aren't sharp. They don't stay sharp. They're cheaply constructed, but then again what would you expect for a $39.99 ($18.50 on sale) ELEVEN-piece knife set? You're far better off purchasing one well-made, well-balanced kitchen knife. I do have a positive comment for Miracle Blades. I get to make light-hearted fun of my unfortunate friend who purchased the set. Don't make his sophomoric mistake! Don't buy these knives!!

"Warranty TERRIBLE -- total scam", This knife set is a scam. First off, huge rust problemon all blades. This occured within the first year and has not left yet. Secondly, when I was cutting off a soft black of cheese with the steak knife the blade actually broke in half, bounced up and nearly took my eye out! It literally busted in the middle of the blade. I took this problem to their customer service people and they tried to sell me on a new set for only $29.99 with no S&P. THAT is their warranty! Weak! This whole series is a joke and I would go with another knife set. Very frustrating experience.
