"Classy and Practical!"
I love this set...Corelle is a given great, but the Ivy pattern of the Callaway design is wonderful, and the swirl effect makes it classy. I love it so much I am buying for a wedding gift this summer.

I ordered 4 sets about 9 months ago and they still look like new!! I love this set. It looks clean and elegant and yet is very durable.

"Callaway dishes"
The dishes are great. The pattern is cheerful. I like the fact that these come with the glasses instead of cups. I use mugs for coffee and always had a lot of unused cups.

"I've sworn off stoneware!"
Although I love the patterns and heft of my 2 collections of stoneware, I got very tired of having them chipped and broken by the less "careful" members of my family. Although I've had two sets of Corelle before, and never had any problems with it, I never saw patterns that I could live with for very long. I've gone back to Corelle, and I think this is it for me. True, the plates are very light, but they are so damage resistant--and I can use this pattern for any season.

I have one form of arthritis - so I had to give up my other tableware for it was too heavy for me. I had problems clearing the table and putting dishes away in the cupboard. The light weight of the Corelle Ware is so much better.
The dishes are light in weight yet very durable - with my table linens it makes for a very attractive setting to greet the family and guests at my table.

Another thing I liked is the glasses. They are weighted at the bottom for stability - yet not too heavy. Just this past week - my granddaughter was here while I was making juice from raspberries and morganberries. The aroma fill the kitchen and she ask "Oma, can I put some on ice cream?" I replied in the affirmative. She got one of the glasses and put the vanilla ice cream in it and brought it to me as I stood by the stove. I saw what she had done and with trepidation I proceeded - but explained to her that I needed to be sure the juice went onto the ice cream first and very slowly - as the extreme in hot vs cold might crack the glass. I was lucky -- She got her parfait look and said it was delicious and she was a very happy camper and I was very impressed by the durability of the glass. I likely will never do that again - for it is not wise - but it did work that one time.
