What our customer's say!

"6 years and going strong", I purchased this steamer in 2002 and it is still working perfectly 6 years later. I really love it! I have 4 boys and a lot of stuff gets dropped and spilled on our tile floor. A simple quick sweeping job to get the crumbs, etc, and then a 10 minute job with this mop gets even the toughest, nastiest dried food up. The floor always looks and feels beautiful afterwards. And, it's so simple to use that even my 5 yr old loves to use it (with supervision, of course). The only negative is what another reviewer mentioned--because of the solid base and rounded corners, it's impossible to get under cabinets with it, but that doesn't bother us--a simple wipe with a damp rag takes care of those areas. I rate this mop as one of my 10 best household purchases ever.

"Basically great", I own one of these and use it often. It always makes shinier, and probably cleaner, surfaces than the many types of standard grocery store & Wal-Mart mops I've owned over the years. It also does this in less time, and without ever needing to replacement heads (except maybe the enviro-steamer pads eventually are worn down, but mine are still fine after 3 years...).

I only have two minor criticisms: because the item is light-weight and bends at the base, you don't feel the same sense of control over the device as a standard mop. In spite of this, the device still cleans quicker and better than any mop.

Second, because the base is solid, not made out of of sponge or mop yarn, etc., it CANNOT get 100% into your corners, or perhaps where the floor meets the base of kitchen counters due to low overhanging cabinets... this is a problem in my home, so I do those areas by hand. My old standard mops COULD clean that easily, but for anything else they are inferior compared to the envirosteamer.

Finally, there is really no benefit to putting chemicals into your environment when steaming-hot water does the trick as well or, as I've discovered, even better.

"No Hassle Cleaning", My father bought me this unit and every day I email him to tell him how much I LOVEEEEEEEEEETH this machine !

Easy - Fast - Streak Free Shine !!!! YeaHHHHHHH !!!!

No more hands and knees cleaning ( or less than clean floors if using a sponge mop ) ... moving of buckets...wringing of dirty sponges ...and emptying dirty water into my sink...
No more running to the local market to buy expensive vinegar in large bottles that take up a lot of storage room.

It used to take me anywhere from 25" to 55" to do my tile floors, depending on whether I was doing it ALL, or just high traffic areas.
Now in less than 5 minutes my floors are all done and chemical and streak free shine rises up to greet my eyes.
The unit is very light weight and will store in any place that a regular sponge mop will store.'

Just fill it up with water with the small cup provided... turn it on, wait a few minutes for it to heat up...
drag it gently across your floors... letting it sit for about 3 -6 seconds on any obvious grime...and voila !! amazingly clean floors that dry in half the time as normal !

Then rinse the pad out under running water( 10 seconds ), gently wring it out ( 5 seconds ), and hang it up to dry.
I usually put the other pad on at this point so that the unit is ready to go for the next time.

I did experience streaks twice, when using the steamer.. but that was only after I had used a chemical on my grout and the steamer was steaming it out of the grout...
a few cleans after that it was back to producing gleaming, 'streak free', tiles...

My tiles are mostly white with a smattering of peachy taupe in them, and smooth and shiny. They tend to show any kind of streaking or water spotting.
With this unit I don't have to worry about that.

Tap water can be used, but I use distilled water. I feel it is better for the unit and better for the floors. The unit uses such a small amount of water that it is cost effective for me to do that, rather than spending money on expensive toxic chemicals or vinegar to do my floors.

As far as the pad picking up a lot of dry dust and grit... my suggestion is to take a few minutes to sweep the floors of this kind of dirt, 'prior' to washing them.
I used to do this even when I was on my hands and knees to wash... it is a more 'efficient and time conserving way to do the floors.

I used to dread people coming into the house after I had done my floors, because there was the inevitable having to do them again.
Now cleaning is so easy, it is almost fun.

Everybody WELCOME !!!

"OK", The steam leaves sludge on your floors. The waffle covers do not pick up anything and you have to wipe up behind with another towel. I have found it works better to use a terry cloth hand towel. If I had to do it over again, I would have bought the model that has a floor attachment as well as smaller ones for all jobs.
