"Good product, lousy packaging" These are standard Corelle, which I like. It was not well packaged, and the glasses in one box were broken. Amazon replaced easily, but it would have been avoided by proper packaging - including padding. "dropped......" My husband dropped a plate the other day and was AMAZED that it didn't shatter, or crack or even chip....I love corelle! My mom was right this stuff is great, also this patter is really nice, my husband begged me not to get anything girlie, but he was okay with this pattern "Great functionality and beauty" I love how simple and sleek these dishes are. The design on them is clear and vibrant (even better than I thought it would be per the picture on the internet), and even though they easily hold the same amount of food, they take up a third of the cupboard space my bulkier ceramic dishes did. They have withstood being dropped, banged, and a very enthusiastic "washing" by a 3 year old without a knick or scratch. I love being able to use them in the microwave to heat up mid-day lunch for kids, and yet use the same dishes for a nice dinner with friends. They are the most versatile and functional while still being beautiful dishes I've ever had. "corelle dishes" Lovely design, great service, quick delivery. Great price.", Originally wanted to just buy a few dessert plates to add to my current collection but it was less expenseive to just by an entire set. This is the second set of Corelle we've had over the last 30 years. Yes...30 years! Corelle lasts a long time! We didn't toss our old set out..we handed it down for more lasting use! "Corelle Livingware 16-piece dinner set ", I chose this set for the design and the choice of glasses instead of mugs, which is the first time I have ever seen that option. I would recommend this item. "Gorgeous set of everyday "china"", After reading some of the other reviews I was a bit nervous when I ordered 2 sets of this Corelle "china" for my house. I'd been making do with mismatched corelle for years and while I loved its durability and ease of cleaning I'd always hated the mismatched patterns I had. So, when this showed up for sale along with the buy 3 get the 4th promo I jumped. Both sets of my Corelle arrived completely intact with no broken glasses or any damage. I've used them now for a couple months and they've held up just like I expected from a Corelle product. I haven't had any problems with the glasses which I wash all the time in the top rack of my dishwasher. In fact I'd say they seem sturdier then the set of glasses I used to have. I'd definately recommend this product as a budget friendly set of everyday plates. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Light, durable, cheap.", Years ago, I bought a couple sets of heavy duty, high quality, restaurant-style dinnerware. They were big, heavy, plain white dishes that you'd probably find your food served on in a diner or even a nice restaurant. After many years, I've finally realized that what I thought was a wise utilitarian purchase was a long-term frustration. Every item was so heavy that washing dishes, carrying a bowl of soup or even storying them in the cabinet (they took up a lot of room) was a hassle. I decided it was time to find something else, but I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars. I don't have fancy dinner parties, so all I need is something durable, sturdy, fairly light and . . . preferably cheap enough that next time I move I can just give them away or throw them away instead of paying for the movers to deal with them. This Corelle set fit the bill nicely. And at a third of the cost of the original dishware I used to own. After I received this, I realized they were the same kind of dishes my mom owned and that I grew up with. I can't believe I put up with my old dishes for so long. Every time you had a bowl of cereal in the morning, it was like you were lifting wights in a gym. Ridiculous. These, on the other hand, are incredibly light. And they stack nicely. What used to take three shelves (not counting glasses) can now be stored in only two shelves (including glasses). I was so pleased with these that I bought a second set. My thinking is that the more sets I buy, the less often I'll have to do dishes. I know, I know . . . come on - I'm a guy. Isn't it enough that I'm using dishware and silverware at all?! "Kitchen dishes", This is a great new set. Nice and light and very agreeable with children. My order orginally came broken but Amazon was great and replaced my order as fast as they could and with no charges!! Thank you!!! "Corelle kitchenware", My old corelle lasted 20+ years and my wife wanted a change so I got her the new stuff. It appears to be corelle's high quality which should last another 20+ years "Corelle dishes", I really like corelle for everyday use (my husband just dropped a bowl on the kitchen floor last night and it was fine). This pattern is cute, and not overpowering. We use some of ALL of the pieces every day (big plate, little plate, bowl & glasses). I REALLY liked the fact that it came with nice sized drinking glasses rather than those mugs that we never use! We've been getting some of the country cottage serving bowls and other things and it makes it nice when we have friends over informally when things match without being too expensive. |
