Others say...

"Disappointed!"
After less than a year of careful use, my prized pans are showing defects in the aluminum coating! Just like a nonstick pan. Good thing for the 25 year warranty.

"Heavy duty"
These pans are very well built. They are larger than the run of the mill pans found in most department/discount stores. Quite a bit heavier than most pans also. I am sure they will last a very long time.

"Awesome"
These pans were delivered quickly and and wonderful. They are a great value for the money - they are very heavy duty and I expect they will hold up for many years to come.

"Good Sheets But Damaged On Arrival"
I just got these sheets for Christmas and though I've enjoyed using them several times, I was disappointed in the damage on both when they arrived from Amazon.

Because these were a gift (ones I picked), I did not return them, but both had damage when they arrived in the packaging. One had a small dent on the side and the second contained a scratch which was hidden underneath the label information.

Outside of the damage (both being minor overall to the sheets), we have baked on them a few times and like the results.

"Loving this pan to bake with"
Why oh why didn't I have this pan when I baked cookies more often? What I like about this pan: good hefty weight - pan doesn't buckle or warp. Browns bottoms of cookies without scorching edges. Even cooking of cookie - edge as good as center. No need to prepare pan with cooking spray, shortenting, etc. Didn't need to use parchment paper or silicon liner either. Clean up was a breeze. A little warm soapy water with a bit of nylon net and you'd neven know 8 batches of cookies had just come out of the oven using this pan. This pan and it companion cookie sheets stay...all others in my baking sheet collection go!

What our customer's say!

"Best pans money can buy", Top top quality, heavy construction, durable, keeps its shape in the heat, non-stick but doesn't use any coating (I hate coating), made of metal/aluminum so it doesn't corrode or get stained. You can simply feel the top quality of these pans. Best pans you'll even own. Great for cookies, bread...

"Not as happy as I hoped!", Chicago Metallic Commercial Cookie/Jelly Roll Pans, Set of 2The two pans are obviously packed together and when I opened the box, the top pan looked fine. However, when I separated the two, the pan on the bottom was dented on the two long sides. Consequently, when I use it, if there is any liquid, it pools. Guess I should have just gone to a store and avoided shipping.

"workhorses", but for some discoloration I"m very pleased - they nest well, and are roomy.
I think they're also a good weight - not too heavy but sturdy

"Unfortunately Made in China", I really, really would love to give these baking sheets five stars; after all, I have used Chicago Metallic baking products for years and absolutely love them. However, I recently ordered this set of two jelly roll pans and was a bit surprised upon seeing them. They did not appear to be of quite the same quality as the old jelly roll pan I have. The rolled edges were not as completely rolled over and tucked under as the edges on the old one. The corners were different too. Finally, the pans did not seem nearly so "heavy-duty" to me. I remember when I got the first pan - probably back in 2001 or 2002 - and I was very impressed, as other reviewers have noted, with how substantial the pan was. I wonder if I would have been as impressed if these pans had come instead.

At any rate, a thought came to my mind as I looked the new pans over. Were these made in China? So I took the label off and, sure enough, there in small print at the bottom, were the words, "Made in China." I can't say how disappointed I was! I actually still had the label from the original pan in my file cabinet and it said no such thing. In fact, it lists Chicago Metallic with the address to their Lake Zurich, IL manufacturing facility which, according to their 2005 catalog that is still on their website, is where their pans are (were) manufactured. The new label says Chicago Metallic, Focus Products Group LLC and a Vernon Hills, IL address, plus the aforementioned "Made in China."

I will say in fairness that these pans are still likely better than any pan you will buy at Walmart or any other discount store. Also, as a pro, they still offer a 25 year limited warranty. I think that next time, however, I will buy a commercial pan that is still made right here in the U.S.

"Extremely rugged, high quality, but hard to keep clean", These jelly roll/sheet pans are extremely well built. They are very heavy and thick, do not warp, and should last a lifetime. They are the highest quality I have found, and I've owned many different brands.

Be aware though, that they are NOT in any way non-stick, and are hard to keep clean. If you don't mind breaking out the steel wool to keep these in shape, they are excellent - if you are looking for something that's easy maintenance, however, go with non-stick. Of course, none of the non-stick ones will last anywhere near as long, as the teflon finish wears off any cookware after a while.

"Great performance", My cookie sheets arrived with a small ding on one side of one sheet, but I decided this would not affect the performance of the pan. I have so far used them to make snicker doodles and am duly impressed. I use baking parchment so there was no trouble with the embossed logo design in the center of the sheets. My cookies baked to a nice even color in the time recommended by the recipe. The cookie bottoms were just the right shade of very light brown, and the cookies did not spread and flatten, but instead retained their basic shape and loft, making a nice soft cookie inside. I am a former user of Insulaire because I do not like hard brown cookie bottoms, but I like my results with these pans even better because sometimes my Insulaire cookies didn't get done in the middle, even when I adjusted temperature and time according to Insulaire recommendations. I'm looking forward to Christmas cookie baking this year with these new CM pans!

"Nice Pans", What a difference a quality pan makes. Nice even baking. I bake frequently and so far they are great with no complaints.

"Sweet ", I got to use my pans today YAY.. My Texas sheet cake looked as if it was store made!!! WOO HOO

"Awesome value", These are the super heavyweight commercial pans, like you would see in restaurant. I shopped around a lot and the price for the set of two just can't be beat. I won't have to ever buy jellyroll pans again.

"Heavy-duty pans at a good price", I've loved all my Chicago Metallic products, including these pans. They're large and sturdy, built to last.
