"Great Quality! " I order things online all the time but rarely have time to write a review. My husband and I have remodeled our kitchen and were looking for a nice stemware rack. I ordered 2 of these and we are extremely pleased with the quality and craftsmanship. My husband usually builds everything himself because he demands the best quality and he is amazed at how nice these are! From channel to channel center, there's a generous 4 inches to accommodate the larger Riedel glasses. You may not want to hang three of these puppies in a single slot, though. They will fit three deep if you hang it far enough from the wall, but I found that three was just too crowded and unstable for my taste. Using two chains, we were able to suspend the rack under the bar lights for an appealing look.

What our customer's say! "Well-made, good-looking rack", I was looking for a nice-looking and well-made wine rack that wouldn't stand out in my small kitchen. It was easy to install and works just as advertised. It's deep enough to hang 3 large wineglass per row. "Geat Buy!", Very pleased with the product. Well constructed and was exactly what I was looking for. "sturdy and easy to install", I did have to re-drill the holes for the install screws to fit the beam on our kitchen ceiling, but other than that it was a cinch! we've gotten compliments on it. "Great purchase", Item was received quickly. I stained it to match the color of my kitchen cupboards. Visitors thought it was part of the cupboard...very nice piece! "Rack works well for us", This rack worked well for our need. We attached it in our china cabinet as is and have created space for my husband's tall german beer glasses. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Love it!", This product is a must if you are in the position I was in. I had all these pretty glasses and no where to put them. I may end up staining it someday but for now its looks great and works like a charm. "Awesome!", Exactly what I needed. Holds a full 18 glasses. I mounted under one of my cabinets, and had no problems installing. =) "wine glass rack", Nice wine rack we ordered 2 and cut them down to make them smaller. We painted them white. They look great above my kitchen sink. "Nice quality, but...", I bought this to house my husband's Riedel collection. It is a decent quality rack using glue and screw to hold the rack together, and is made of high quality maple. The only negative is that it won't fit the base of the Vinum Extreme Pinot Glasses. "Works great and the price is right", Especially with the free shipping deal, this is competitive with any other prices I found for pre-assembled stemware racks. If you have a router and/or a compound miter saw you could probably build one a little cheaper, but for about twenty bucks, your time would have to be fairly cheap. The rack is sized to accomodate our big 25-ounce Burgundy glasses just as easily as it holds our little port glasses and champagne flutes, thanks to the beveled rails that hold the bases of the glasses. It is a nice design feature which seems cosmetic but turns out to be functional. The rack was absolutely trivial to install in our existing kitchen cabinet shelf; the included self-drive screws do not require pre-drilling. I found it less fatiguing to drive the screws in an 'X' sequence, so that after the second screw, I no longer had to support the structure while driving them. The entire installation took about 3 minutes, including removal of the glasses from the existing shelf, and replacing them into the rack. Not bad! I much prefer this style of rack over the chrome wire-rail styles. |
