My husband wanted a Bunn coffee maker for years, but I wouldn't get one - I was not fond of the style. I broke down over a year ago, and decided to get this model. Boy, am I glad I did! This is truly the best residential coffee maker, at least the best I've ever tried.

The coffee is ready in just three minutes and you can brew a second pot immediately, due to the reservoir. Somehow the way this brews the coffee makes even the cheapest swill palatable.

After spending a couple of hours on line researching coffee makers, I decided to purchase this one based on the many good reviews given by other customers. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed when I received this product. I thought I was getting a high quality coffee maker, professional grade. Instead, I found it to be of lower quality. Portions of it, including the filter holder, were made of plastic, similar to cheap coffee makers you find at your local department store. The lid is flimsy and does not sit in the pot properly. There is no timer, which is important if you like the coffee brewing when your alarm goes off. As for the coffee, it is hot, initially, but does not stay hot for that second and third cup. It tastes good, but no better than the coffee made with the Mr. Coffee maker it replaced, which was 1/3 the price.

This Bunn makes a consistent and great tasting pot of coffee every time. I'm drinking nearly a pot a day now:) It makes a perfect pot every time. I use "Peets" coffee and I have yet to make a bad pot. In the past I've had a tendency to make strong coffee and inconsistent coffee with some occasional bitterness. Although with this brewer it's difficult to make a strong pot of coffee, it outweighs the perfectly balanced brew each time. No bells and whistles is just fine with me. It's also nice to have the pot brewed in under 3 1/2 minutes or so. If you don't want to make a whole pot, you can still make a minimum of 4 cups. Though a tad bit pricey for a home coffee maker, I highly recommend it for those who want great tasting coffee everytime.

"BEST coffee pot ever!"
My MIL swears by Bunn coffee pots. So I finally asked for one last Christmas and have been so THRILLED by it. Super fast coffee maker and it's hot. Very simple to use. I am never going back to another coffee pot. I'm even going to buy my own mother this same pot this year because I can't stand to go to her house and have to wait 15 minutes for a cup of coffee.

Outstanding Coffee Maker - Horrible instructions. This maker needs an introduction explaining how it works: it appears to maintain a reservoir of warm water that quickly heats fresh water for quick, spray jet drip coffee. In order to do this YOU MUST KEEP THE VACATION SWITCH ON. Don't cut it off like 99% of all other coffee makers out there. Brewing is not triggered until you have poured in the fresh water and then placed the empty carafe back on the burner. And, it is not really a burner until you turn it on. If you want the next cup hot you HAVE TO TURN THE WARMER SWITCH ON. None of this is difficult it is just a different way of brewing. But ah what a superior brew!
