"Pants Presser", I am satisfied with the pants presser I recently purched and use it regularly

"Didn't even get to use it", I had bought this item for Christmas for my boyfriend back then, and had received the item on time but badly damaged. Upon inspection, the actual board was completely scratched and had a hole that actually went through the whole width of the board. Needless to say, I returned it and was sent another that was also scratched but tried to see if at least it was worth having to return it and wait for another or to get a full refund. Although it seemed to work when plugged in, it did a poor job of pressing the pants. The whole reason I bought this was to avoid ironing and it seemed that it just removed a few wrinkles. I returned it and got him something else instead. It turns out that even if I wanted to see about exchanging it for another, non-damaged pants press, that Amazon was unable to replace it. At least Amazon returned my purchase price. I have never had this problem with any other item I've ever ordered from them however and am very surprised at the poor condition of the items when I received them both damaged.

"Press Pro SF-690", We found that the press left pants with irregular wrinkles along the flat part of the pants. The crease was fine, however an old press that no longer heats does a better job of pressing pants. We returned the item to Amazon.

"Buy the Corby", I had had a Euro-Pro Pants Press that did a great job but stopped working and I couldn't find another one, so I bought the Orion Press Pro. I was very disappointed. It caused a lot of wrinkles along the seams of the pants and I had to iron the pants. After 2 months I gave up and bought the Corby 5500 (also called the Classic). It does a great job. My pants get a good press and no wrinkles, and I don't have to iron them like I did with the Orion. It's more expensive but well worth it. You will save a lot of ironing and cleaning costs. Trust me on this -- it's the difference between being pleased every day and being irritated every day (like I was with the Orion). I'm only posting this as a good deed. Don't expect to press the area above the legs, none do, but I don't iron that area -- I just use the pants presser on the legs, and I wear a suit every day. Also, the Corby is longer and will do longer legs than the Orion. I'm 6' tall and there are inches to spare.

"I was very surprised and pleased!", I was skeptical to order since the previous review was so negative, but my press-pro arrived perfectly on time and in great shape! There were no dings or dents, the product was quickly delivered, and it works like a charm! I wanted it for my husband for Father's Day since he used one on our honeymoon in Italy....it was even better than the one we had in our room there! Thanks again...don't hesitate to order this product!
