"Terrrible pans!"
Lets start off with the rivets leaking! Pans will not hold water. Then I started to use the fry pans, low to med heat and Pam sprayed on the cooking surface. Bacon sticks, eggs stick however I know these are not teflon, however you shouldn't need a screw driver and a hammer to get your food to release. Now try to get the stains off, vinagar or Bon Ami or Bar keepers friend does help but just not worth the effort. I am going back to my cast iron skillets, much easier to clean..

"Best online purchase I have ever made"
I had been thinking about buying a set of cookware for some time and wanted to do my research. This is some of the best stainless steel you can buy at an affordable price. With the Kitchen Aid brand, you know it's going to be a quality product. When I recieved my cookware, I was even more impressed at how heavy each piece is. The bottoms of the pots and pans are nearly half an inch thick! The silicon handles are very nice and cool to the touch and the lids fit nicely on the cookware.

And it's been another great shopping experience with Amazon too. This product was on sale, then there was a Kitchen Aid sale on top of that, and after applying for an Amazon.com VISA and saving [...], plus free super saver shipping... I only paid [...]Without a doubt, this is the best online purchase I have ever made.

"excellent cookware"

This is an excellent cookware ,easy to clean up .

"Best cookware ever"
This is the best cookware I've ever owned. It's beautiful, heavy, and cooks wonderfully. Distributes heat evenly with the aluminum core. The lids fit neatly into the top of the pots creating a nice seal. The soft cool handles are well made and attached with double rivets and are oven safe. Proper use of oil prevents most food from sticking. (I still prefer non-stick for eggs.) Cleaning is simple. If there is anything stuck, just soak for a little while. Some people are confused about the use of metal utensiles on stainless steel. If you read your manual you will note that stainless cookware is not safe for metal utensiles. They cause tiny scratches making food stick more easily, plus removes the shine inside. Same is true with brillo pads, etc. Just read the instructions and you will love this set. Also, a great deal on Amazon!

"Nice Cookware Set"
Pretty much as advertised: great stainless-steel cookware set. It looks nice, works wonderfully, just what we were looking for. The set provides the needed sizes for most of our everyday cooking. Before this set most of our cookware was non-stick, so we were a bit worried about that, but they seem to clean up without much effort, really not any harder than our non-stick ware. We would recommend the cookware.

What our customer's say!

"Great set of Pots and Pans for a great price", I have been using these pots and pans for about 2 months now and I simply love them! They are very very very very easy to clean - even though they are not the "non-stick". I was scared to buy anything with Teflon since they are saying it can be very dangerous - so I bought these. I was a little nervous at first, as I have always used non-stick in the past- but they are great! They never get so hot that you cannot touch them, they clean easily and they are perfect sizes. All in all - a very good deal for the money.

"KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials Stainless", I am very dissapointed with this set. Everything sticks to them. I guess I will go back to non-stick!

"Excellent Value - Great Style", Hi All,
I purchased the cookware set after reading the reviews. I really researched before I purchased. I wanted a heavy duty set of cookware, without paying an outrageous amount of money. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. They are well made and heat up quickly. My favorite thing about them are the silicone handles. I have a gas stove, and it makes it much easier to adjust the position of the pot, with the cool touch handle.

Several reviews have indicated they are difficult to clean. I have not encountered that issue, simply rubbing any stuck on food with a baking powder paste seems to keep them shining.

Hope this helps!

"Mostly love it", We purchased this set after much deliberation and research. Consumer reports find them best in the SS category. We found that although we do like them, I was instantly disappointed upon opening the box to see a solid SS lid. The picture, after looking at the product's website and Amazon's site seemed as though the lids were clear glass. Not so. Also, they seem to keep a stain of even boiled water after use, coming out a tad dirty looking after going thru the dishwasher. After a light scrubbing with steel wool pads, they are fine. Word to the wise: I originally wanted to purchase a better non-stick set but realized that you could not mash potatoes or 'brown' items in those. The regular SS is still the best cooking tool for all-around use.

"Great!", I bought this set after weeks of going back and forth between this set and Revere Ware. I wanted the Revere but heard that it wasn't made as well anymore and after reading all the great reviews about Kitchen Aid decided to buy it. I LOVE this set of cookware!! The pots are heavy, but not too heavy, with great grip handles. Things cook beautifully and clean up is easy. I heard that vinegar would get rid of caked on food and it does! This was the best set to get and I'm so happy with it! It's gorgeous!!

"You can cook with these", I decided to buy these because my All-Clad pots and pans are not dishwasher safe. So, I am holding these pots to a pretty high standard. I have been using them for about a month. I was surprised at how well they distribute heat at low settings (gas stove). You can still get hot spots, but they are manageable. The handles are comfortable, but I wish they could go in the broiler. However, I question whether the handles will last 20 years like my All-Clad. All in all, these pans are a testament to how good more affordable cookware can be.

"Kitchen Aid Gourmet Essensials", I love the ease of cleaning, but, I do wish it was open stock where I could buy extras pans!

"Love it!!!", These are just wonderful pots and pans. They look very nice and look much more expensive than they were.

"Love 'em, love 'em , love 'em!!!....", I bought this cookware set as a belated Mother's Day present for my mom thinking "Well, its KitchenAid so it must be good". I was right....it is great!!! Cleans up VERY easily, cooks evenly, looks great. Even the little frying pans, I did some eggs-turned out wonderful! The handles are have an insulated material that keep them from getting hot. I am planning on buying a set for myself. I wish it had more pieces for the money but hey-I can't really complain, its EXCELLENT.

"Good quality", Amazed at the quality for the price. They handle well and have a good weight without being too heavy. Have used only the saucepans so far.
