"Great griddle - great price"
I recommend this griddle to anyone. The heat is evenly distributed and it is heavy. We made pancakes with it and they came out beautifully. Great value!

We have bought claphalon products in the past and have been really please with them. The jury is still out on this one.

"Simply Awful"
The bottom of this pan is too thin and it quickly became too warped to even cook an egg on. I got sick of it taking up valuable space in my cabinet and gave it away.

I asked for this for Christmas as an experiment - I have a set of calphalon pans, but had none of the standard non-stick stuff. I'm glad I did; this has become one of my favorite pans - I must use it close to daily, it is probably the single most used pan in my kitchen. It cleans up incredibly easily and I am able to cook many things (like turkey meatballs) without having to add any extra oil at all, even non-stick cooking spray. Even eggs don't stick to it. I can't speak to the longevity of the coating (I've only had it three months) and I haven't had problems with it being wobbly - probably due to square burner grids - but I can see how others might have had problems with it, it isn't perfectly balanced. I won't take away from my 5 stars for that, though, as it hasn't caused me any issues whatsoever.

I was concerned about this, based on some of the negative reviews I've read, but so far it works great! It's easy to clean and I've used it successfully for lots of things in the past 2 months - grilled cheese, chicken, burgers, and it seems to handle everything just fine. I'm very happy with it.
