"Hard to beat, but" It runs batteries down a bit quickly. For stirring and frothing it works well, but be sure not to use it if the mug or glass is too full: it will be likely to spill over. The stand is convenient. Easy to "clean." "It works!" Great little product. Haven't had it long, but so far it does the job it was intended to do--froth milk. I use soy milk and it works great. Doesn't heat the milk, just froths it. I also like the stand. It keeps my counter clean and is quite sturdy. "good choice" not only frothed up my 2% milk for a mean vanilla latte but also made hot cocoa and my sons chocolate milk very well. I would recommend purchasing this frother if you enjoy fluffy coffee and/or have kids. "It's perfect!!!" It's a perfect frother for my latte. It made very rich & soft froth. I love it! "Excellent product" It worked well with regular (whole) milk, but it works the best with 2 percent milk. The trick is in the temperature of the milk. I also sprinkle sugar while frothing for a thicker foam.

Read this reviews before You buy... "Excellent Frother", Unlike some cheaper frothers we have owned, the Aerolatte case holds the batteries firmly and always works. "Cappuccino every day", With this Aerolatte frother, I get to enjoy cappuccino everyday. It's very easy to use and clean. And it looks great on my kitchen counter. "Does not live up to billing", Perhaps my expectations were too high, but this has been a bit of a disappointment. Skim won't froth period, 2% will froth if cold, and whole will froth if it is tepid. If you are using this for something besides frothing milk for espresso, etc., this it might be o.k., but that is the lone reason for me for this purchase. I will be looking into an actual frother. Harder to clean up, etc., but botom line I need something that works, and this comes up just a little short. I own a Briel cappuccino maker with milk frother/steam wand. It steams milk well but require Barista level skill to make good froth! I also own a Bodum pump which requires way too much energy. Aerolatte is my most favorite tool to froth milk now. It works well with both cold or hot skim milk and very fast (10-15 seconds). Sorry about the video, that was my 1st time using it without prior practice. I can master it in less time now. Milk froth tastes a little airy (not as good as using steam wand) but still better than using hand-pump. "Don't buy this product!", My first Aerolatte died after a couple of years. When I tried to contact them about the guarantee I had to e-mail someone in Europe. The e-mail received no response. Neither did my phone messages. I finally sent a fax and after a month or two they told me to contact a store in New Jersey who never responded to my inquiries. By that time I had purchased another Aeorolatte & that one uses batteries so rapidly & vibrates that I stopped using it. You have to heat the milk first in a microwave and the Aerolatte isn't that easy to use & can take off the finish in your coffee cups. The foam isn't great either. The products aren't reliable & the guarantee is a farce. The Aeroccino, although more expensive, is a much better buy as it heats & foams in one container & the foam is much better. Don't buy an Aerolatte. |
