"Refrigerator for TV room ", Ordered standard free shipping and it arrived in great shape (no crushed shipping container or damage) in 5 days. Keeps drinks just below freezing at medium setting and is super quiet.

"You don't get what you pay for", First let me say AMAZON is great. Their service is excellent and they take care of problems when you receive damaged shipments. That having been said, DO NOT BUY THIS SANYO REFRIGERATOR, IT IS VERY POORLY MADE ! The compressor motor is mounted on a flimsy sheet metal bar. This unit is not a quality product and you would do well to find one constructed much more solidly.

"A year later, the refrigerator is running great!", I purchased this in June 2007 for my office. I wanted to cut down on feeding one-dollar bills into the vending machines in the office break room and bring my own lunch and snacks to work.

This refrigerator is great! It runs quietly (right behind my desk!). I've defrosted it once and wiped it clean twice (I ran the cold setting too high and split open a can).

I ran into the same problems other customers mention about the shipping. My refrigerator arrived with a crease in the lower right-hand corner. I called Amazon and they deducted a portion of my costs (I was given the option of sending it back, but the dent didn't affect the operation).

Anyway, one year later, I'm thrilled with my purchase. Amazon's customer service was fantastic, too. That's why, even with the dent, I'm giving this product 5 STARS.

"Good Looking Product but Bad Delivery", Had purchased this item for a VP in office. I should have read reviews before actual purchase for I too can be a duplicate recording of most other reviews regarding damage due to improper packaging. Item seemed fine from outside except for a few wrinkles on box. Once open, the disappointment set in. While item is somewhat light, there is no way awkward size of item would not experience some type of damage while in transit. There is no corner protection at all and only some foam at top and bottom of box. Again while the refrigerator itself looked good, the damage swept away the anticipation of items arrival for use.

"Great looking but some problems...", This small refrigerator arrived quickly but slightly damaged- a dent to one of the sides. Because that side would be forever pressed against a cabinet here at work I decided to keep it anyway. Later I noticed that the sodas that I placed in the top row exploded- looked like the cans had been cut open with a knife but upon futher inspection I realzed that they had just frozen from being too close to the freezer. I now place the bottled water on the top row and the sodas everywhere else. There was quite a sticky mess to clean up, but all in all, I think it is a pretty good refrigerator.

"Sanyo Portable Refrigerator", Very nice and fits lots of cans or bottles. works very nicely, although it does tend to get a little over frosted in the tiny freezer area.

"Arrived Badly Damaged", Just to confirm what others have said below, the packaging for this product is obviously not up to the job. I received this product in very bad condition. I don't see how Amazon can ship this product knowing that a large percentage of the refrigerators must arrived badly damaged, like mine. I was purchasing this for my office and wouldn't care too much about the dents, but the motor in the back had also been damaged and had leaked fluid all over the packaging and on the fridge. When I turned the refrigerator on it sprayed additional fluid around my office. Nice.

Now I have to deal with returning this. What a headache. I would avoid this product if you are having it shipped.

"My review", The back of the fridge started to freeze up frequently and it started not to work well after about 1 year. This is why I cannot recommend it. I don't know, but perhaps its better to buy the mini fridge with a freezer as this is the second time I bought a small fridge that this has occured.

"DAMAGES!!!", I read all the reviews before the purchase but didnt believe they would ship damaged goods... I was wrong...

"Versatile counter-high refrigerator", The refrigerator is great--well designed to hold a great deal of food in a small space. The beverage can rack in the door is ideal, as it is easy to access. I purchased it to place in a "master suite" in use by my elderly grandfather, and the door is lightweight enough for him to easily open it with restricted hand movement. My only disappointement was that it arrived with a broken "foot." When I called the 800-number for a replacement part, I was redirected to a contracted parts warehouse. I had to pay $12.50 for a replacment part.
