"Perfect Bottle Warmer" We bought this to use as a bottle warmer when the steamer type didn't work with our disposable bottles. It works like a charm. We keep it on the medium temp with water in it. Heats a bottle in a matter of a couple of minutes - just enough time for a diaper change. Deosn't require any higher level of thought for night feedings. Doesn't take up much counter space and has a removeable pot so we can run it throuh the dishwasher. Love it! "The perfect size for dips" One cannot go wrong with this little crock. It is the perfect size for party dips. The main reason I purchased this model is the removable crock. All too many of these mini crocks do not have removable crocks. That makes for some difficult if not impossible cleaning. This crock has no such issues. The crock and lid go in the dishwasher and a wipe of the heating unit is all it takes. "Fabulous!" Just the right size for my husband and I. Love this size! Easy to clean up too! Perfect for singles and couples. Highly recommend! Amazon delivered in a timely manner too! "small slow cooker" This is a cute little cooker, which has a hi, lo, and keep warm feature. It is just the thing for someone who does not cook for a large family. What our customer's say! "An excellent slow-cooker", I needed a counter-top friendly utensil, and the usual 4 quart-sized versions were unnecessarily large for most of my needs. This version works perfectly and has three useful settings: "high" heats quickly (to just under boiling, and MUCH faster than my large unit); the medium setting works well for all-day or over-night recipes, and the "keep warm" setting does just that. I use this every day to prepare whole grains or beans, and it's perfect for the purpose. The construction is good and the price is better! "Good Size for Singles & Couples", This is a good size when you only need to make 2-3 servings of a dish. I use this most often for steel cut oatmeal in the mornings, but also use it for side dishes and smaller meals, or when my 6 quart crockpot is simply too big. I went with this one over the "little dipper" they sell specifically because the crock is removable. It fits pretty well in the dishwasher, which makes for easy cleanup. I have found the heat settings to be accurate, too. "perfect", This arrived quickly in perfect condition. It works beautifully--adjustable heat and small size make it just right for the things I like to cook. "CROCKPOT", It's a crockpot. My kids/grandkids got grown and I needed a smaller pot to enjoy the same meals from the crockpot, so I ordered a smaller one. "Use it everyday", This is a terrific little crockpot. It has all the features you need. I would say though it is a little small if you are a healthy eater, even if you are cooking for one person. Well worth less than $20. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Proctor Silex 33015 1.5-Quart Round Slow Cooker", I purchased this slow cooker for my 92 year old mother. Since she lives alone, she likes the smaller sized slow cooker. She has used it several times and thinks it works great. She also appreciates being able to remove the liner for serving and washing. "useful but not magnificent", This is a great little pot for making small quantities (sauces, gravies, or cooking dried beans). It's easy to clean too. It lacks some nice control features (such as a timer), which means it's not as hands-off as other slow cookers. I have a Crock Pot Smart Pot which is truly worry-free. I can set the timer and leave it alone all day, and it will automatically switch to "warm" at the end. It's HUGE however, which is why I bought this smaller one. This is fine as long as you will be around to supervise it... you'd need to manually switch the temperature or turn it off since there's no timer. But otherwise it's a fine machine. No problems, just no bells and whistles either. "Nice Crock", Great size for dips and appetizers. Love the removable crock for easy cleaning. The old one we had was really a hassle. The warming setting is also a nice feature. Other than that, what can I say? It's a crockpot. "great for a party", I often serve chili and cheese and nachos and really love this item because it keeps all of these foods nice and warm. "Ideal Small Slow Cooker for Singles and Couples", ***** I love this little slow cooker! It is sturdy and surprisingly well-made for the price. It is easy to use as well---just plug it in and select "keep warm", "low", or "high"---that's it. It has a nice glass lid so that you can watch whatever it is while you are cooking it. In my case, I bought it to use for melting wax for my work with collage, but I wouldn't hesitate to get another one if I lived alone or just with one other person. This little crock pot is perfect! Highly recommended! ***** |
