Others say...

"weak, not good for espresso"
First of all, on opening the bag, the beans were light brown and dry, no great aromas. I have tried to like it, but it makes horrible espresso drinks (no crema, tastes like weak cheap coffee). I will go back to San Francisco dark roast for my daily espresso drinks fix. Even though I paid over $20 for the bag, I cannot drink it.

"Lavazza rocks!"
I can't imagine any more my daily life without a cup of fresh brewed Lavazza Crema e Aroma Coffee! It is smooth, tasty & strong! It is a great start of the day or relaxing afternoon break!

"Delicious espresso!"
I use this with my Aeropress espresso maker. Wow - super smooth and creamy, no bitterness!

"Decent Coffee"
If you prefer smooth mild taste to the burnt sour one this is the right coffee for you. The price's gone up but what else is new?

"Great for Espresso shots or lattes"
This works very well for espresso. I use it in a Solis Crema espresso machine to make shots and lattes. Great flavor for espressos.

What our customer's say!

"This Was OK", But maybe a little disappointing. Frankly I got better crema and aroma from "Super Crema" and "Pienaroma" beans, to which I'll probably go back. The flavor is pretty mild.

I'm using the beans in a Rancilio Rocky grinder and Silvia espresso machine.

"Lavazza Crema e Aroma Coffee", I really enjoy this expresso coffee, it is always smooth, never bitter
or over roasted to taste burned. It makes a wonderful cappucino, with
a frothy head, it has a nice frothy head in just a plain cup of espresso.
I highly recommend it and have ordered it a few times. It is also a great
price.

"Pretty Good Cuppa Joe", These are good - but not great - coffee beans. I like a bit of a "bite" from my coffee, and prefer a really good French Roast - of which many are not "really good." Starbucks French Roast is one of the most consistent, but even their outrageously high-priced blend has disappointed me of late. The Lavazza is a more mellow blend, which I find drinkable but without that morning "slap in the face" you get from a heartier roast. Does that make sense?

"Ok For Price - Not Very Strong", I purchased thhis on the Gold Box Deal for only $7.50 so it was a great price. I was a little disappointed with the streanth. I like strong dark coffee and this was not. But it was good.

"great whole bean coffee for my automatic espresso machine", This is the fourth bag I've bought for my La Pavoni automatic machine. I've tried many brands but I keep returning to this. It seems to work best with my burr grinder and tastes like authentic Italian espresso. Nice crema. Other brands of "espresso" coffee beans are too oily and clog up in the hopper above the grinder and the coffee taste burnt.

"Best coffee for a super automatic", These beans have the best flavor for a superautomatic! Additionally, they are not too oily and do not clog up the grinder. I make this coffee in my Jura Capresso S9, and have consistent flavor and crema. This is the coffee for you if you want great crema and flavor with little work.

"OK Coffee of the price", It is a just an OK coffee! Very weak and has a pretty plain taste, but, it is still better than most American Coffees. I would not buy this particular one again, even though Lavazza Brand is one of my favorite, next to Illy. I used it in the automatic espresso machine, I guess if you grind it and make a regular drip coffee, it may be better. See and try for yourself!

"Not my favorite", Read other reviews that were very positive and decided to try it. Not my favorite.

"It's Own Genre, Not Typical Expresso Roast", I bought this thinking these were typical expresso beans. They may be most often used to make expresso, but the flavor is unique. I was not familiar with the "Crema" phenomenon. Crema is apparently a flavor. Enjoyed the opportunity to try it, but I would caution those looking for their idea of expresso roast to try a smaller sample. If you don't like "Crema" flavor 2.2 pounds is a lot of trying.

"Excellent aroma, taste and price", This is good choice for anybody who using multiple coffe makers (presso drip french press, jezva). Very flavorfull coffe excellent for presso machine it will create nice foam same you can get in italien coffe houses. Exceptional value with coupons. This coffe selle in europe for about a 30 euros - $ 45.00
