"It works, but too noizy", I found nothing special about this model. Includes standard set of accessories. Think is too noizy and bulky. One piece came broken during shipping. Called vendor, got replacement part free of charge.

"Great deal!", I really like this vacuum. It's easy to handle and cleans really well. The red/green light that informs you of the amount of dirt in the area is a bit interesting to get use to but helpful.



"Good Value", I have had the Hoover for about a month now and LOVE it!! I originally had a Hoover when I was first married and it was great for 14 years. When it was time for a new one, I bought a Eureka on sale.............worst vacuum ever -- began falling apart shortly upon purchase and the belts always broke. A relative gave us another Eureka they were not using (this also did not work that well!!) So, it was back to Hoover and I will never stray again!! HOOVER means good, reliable vacuum!! This one has good power, self-propelled (although it is not advertised as self propelled), good power, great on board tools. You don't have to detach and connect the hose. Just take it off the hook and go!! LOVE that!! The bagless part of it is not too bad as far as dumping and getting a plume of dust. The Eureka was much worse. It could be a little lighter in weight, but it has a nice handle grab in the back to make it easier to bring downstairs. Overall, however, it is super !! Very happy and the price is great! Trust me this is a good deal if you are perplexed by all the choices out there and do not want to spend a lot of money! Some people don't like the color green, but its my favorite color so it works for me. (But think about it -- who really is going to see the vacuum but you and your family?? -- so what does color matter??)

"Made off shore by Maytag", My model was a Hoover U6616-900 WindTunnel Self Propelled Bagless Upright

This thing was great for two months while it lasted. The first 800 sq foot of carpet looks great compared to the rest of the house. However the Hoover went up in smoke. The manual says it has an over heat cut-off, but it over heated and all I could see was smoke. I had to air the house out. Taking the machine to the only authorized repair in the area 30 miles away, they laughed when they saw me coming in with the vacuumed. The said don't tell us it over heated. Yep and the motor fried $$$$$.

I admitted that the house was extra dirty but that was no excuse. Their official stand is that the final filter was too dirty and it was my fault. I should not have relied on the heat cutoff and not let my filter get dirty. WHAT! Not let the filter get dirty. Yep if it gets dirty all warranties are off.

The dealer said any fool that would buy a Hover that is now made by Maytag off shore deserves what I got.

So much for the Warranty.




"A Step UP", Replaced a Kenmore canister and I am greatly impressed my the quality and ease of use of the Hoover U5765-900. It is user friendly and the attachments fully complement the machine. Has powerful pickup and the electronic dirt finder does its' job very well. Excellent on room carpets, area rugs as well as hard floors. Remember to check the waste can after each use; this machine picks up stuff buried deep in carpets. Dollar for dollar this Hoover vacuum is a TOP PERFORMER and well worth the investment.
