"Delighted with this item" This juicer has been the most perfect purchase. I bought it to make my diet lemonade (1 lemon, 4 packets Splenda, 20 ounces water.) It is just the perfect size, easy to operate and to clean, plus light-weight and easy to keep under counter or put away. One of the little perks is that when you are juicing the lemon, then lift it off, when you press it back on, the juicer turns the opposite direction - you feel you are getting every ounce of juice. I love it - what more can I say? "handy, compact appliance" I was a little concerned about how this juicer would measure up to our stronger wattage one which was heavy to lift down from an upper cupboard, the pitcher was way too large, and the pitcher handle had broken off. I like the compact size of this model, and it has NO problem efficiently juicing oranges for OJ or lemons for recipes that require juice. I only have an electric juicer because my wrists are sensitive (everyone who uses a keyboard too much should avoid the repetitive movements required with an old-fashioned glass juicer). Am very satisfied with this Oster 3186. "Juicer Bliss" This is a great little juicer. Reasonably priced and works really well. We have lemon and orange tree and use it often. It is perfect for our needs. "juicer" We have an orange tree and I had buckets of oranges. This juicer made short work of it. Small, compact, easy to store. Easy to wash. Everyone should have one.

"easy as 123", we have a large orange tree in our backyard and love to make fresh orange juice. i had an older version of the oster juicer which had a much smaller receptacle for the juice and i finally wore it out. i love the fact that i can make enough fresh orange juice for one of our christmas or easter brunches. easy to use, easy to clean..... "love it!", We love this juicer! Bought it for making lemonade and are using it daily now for fresh orange juice. Works fast and clean up is easy. A simple machine at a great price. "The best solution with its own container", This juicer is the best out of the ones that have their own container, but the ones that are simply juicers and you have to put a glass next to them for the juice to go into are more powerful and you can juice for longer. the only flimsy thing about this one is that 1- you can see the level of juice only on one side of the container 2- it does not switch direction in which it turns easily. "great juicer for margaritas!", had the black and decker juicer and lost the top part...so I thought I'd try the Oster. It is SO MUCH BETTER. The reason is the base doesn't move when you juice. The b & D you had to constantly hold the base and squeeze which was VERY tiring. Highly recommend for your margaritas...we use 1 part fresh lime juice, 1 part tequila (the clear tequila, not the gold) and 3/4 part triple seq..and sugar to your taste. Blend it up with ice and you are good to go! "Died the first day!", We juice two cases of citrus each Passover and have burned out many juicers. We read many many reviews and decided to buy this one. We are really happy with our Oster blender and people seemed to say this was a real work horse. Nope. We burned out the motor on the first day preparing for Passover. We didn't even get 1/4 of the way through the box of juicing oranges. This juicer is probably alright for occasionally juicing a few oranges but it will not stand up to Passover.
