"Wonderful alternative to poking holes in new mantle" 26 years of poking holes in the mantle by my husband so that the kids and grand kids could "hang their stockings by the fireplace" took its toll. after paying $4,000 plus to have it replaced I was NOT about to let a hammer near that oak piece of wood Instead I purchased this coatrack, let the kids and grandkids decorate it with ribbon and streamers and each has a dedicated holder for their stocking. At the end of the season, we plan to use it to use it as a rack for the pets outdoor weather gear. I really like this item. ::two thumbs up::: "The Best Coat Rack Ever Made (so far)" Great product, good value at the price "6 weeks!" After 6 weeks of waiting, customer service said it was going to be another 3 weeks! Forget it! Cancelled order. "don't know about this one" This product was very easy to put together and looks great. The problem is that when you place a coat on the hooks the skrews loosen and the coat falls off. The product would be great for a summer jacket but not good for a winter coat at all. "metal 8 hook coat hat rack review" have not put it together yet. looks good so far.

What our customer's say! "only part shipped", This product arrived w/o an assembly manual, nor any accessories. Terrible, although i know how to assemble it but i don't have accessories. just a bunch of iron bar!! "promises promises", Eight hook coat hat rack. One of hooks defective. Sent back description to company in California as per instructions. Letter returned. Wrote poor review for Athomemart. Customer service rep called to ask to remove poor review and part will be replaced in two days. Am still waiting for part. Supposedly in the mail but given wrong ups tracking number. This has been going on since February. I feel that I am getting a runaround. S. Friedman "Good Coat Rack. ", This coat rack is strong and sturdy. I've found it to be very stable. The only thing negative is that it's a little tedious to put together. "Great for the Office", I bought this coat rack for my office. I shopped for price and style. My office is contemporary, so the black metal tubing fits right in. I hang one coat on the top rung, and several canvas bags off the lower rungs. I have no problems with it falling over, or being out of balance otherwise. It fits nicely into a corner between a filing cabinet and the wall, making it look like it was designed for the space. Great product overall. "A gift for someone", Not an accurate rating. I can't give a rating since this was a gift for someone who had it on their wishlist. Sorry. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "does the job", a good basic place to hang a half dozen jackets or hats. Its a little wobbly when loaded but not too bad. easy to assemble and looks OK. Everything was included and it was simple to put together. One other reviewer mentioned that it will tip over with really heavy coats. My coats (even the winter ones) are apparently not that heavy. The real disappointment was that it took over a month to arrive. It took about two weeks after the last date predicted that I would receive it by. If you really want this coat rack, make sure you give it adequate time to arrive. "Good product", It's a good product for the price. I wanted a cheap coat rack and this was the best deal (20 bucks) I could find. The coat rack is made of metal, has good finish and is strong but the only disadvantage with it is you can't hang heavy coats because it tends to tip off the ground. The base of the stand is about 2 feet (not huge) and hence not stable....it's good for medium and light jackets. If you have a couple of heavy ones...make sure you hang them on the opposite sides to balance it. overall its a great product for the price. would recommend it for small and medium homes. "Great rack!", Great coat rack for the price. It's very original in design and accents my home. It's been very durable all thru last winter and now for another one to come. |
