Others say...
"Still running after 7 years!" I was given one of these as a gift in early 2001 and it's still going strong. I've only had to replace the batteries once or twice (I don't froth milk daily). It's amazing how stiff the froth on whole milk is--you could practically cut it! My only caution would be that if you overheat the milk, it won't froth, probably because you've denatured the milk proteins. I couldn't be happier with this little toy. It makes me feel all cafe-like and Frenchy when I make a latte with it. "Just won't quit" We have been using the same Aerolatte for three years now with NO problems. An amazing product for the price. "works great for 7 months" It was great for the 7 months it worked. After that period it died...It's not worth repairing but getting another one, but I am dissapointed because it did not last too long. "Very Nice" I purchased this produce a few weeks ago, and I really enjoy it. It is very easy to use, easy to clean and lives up to its claim. I simply insert into my fat free half n half, press the button, and in seconds I have a frothey topping for my coffee. "Oh honey! Where did all the foam come from?" I read about this little gadget on Amazon, everyone was raving how good it was but still I wondered whether I really needed it. I was already a proud owner of the Bialetti Moka Express, 6 Cup and with my Lavazza Italian Coffee, Caffe Espresso, 100% Premium Arabica Ground Coffee, 8-Ounce Cans (Pack of 4) I was making a wonderful espresso. My mornings were almost perfect, but something was missing...and the coffee lover in me kept me going back again and again to Starbuck's door. "Triple shot espresso, medium-dry" I would say each day, and think about how coffee could cost the same as lunch! So I gave in and bought the Aerolatte Frother and what a great move that was... The Aerolatte can produce copious foam from just a little bit of milk. I take just a little low fat milk in my cup (1/8th cup), nuke it for half a minute with some Splenda and then froth it for about 15 seconds with the Aerolatte frother. Voila! the whole cup fills up with foam. Stiff and dense foam. Foam that forms peaks and valleys. Then, in the already warm cup filled with dense foam I pour in the espresso from my Bialetti Moka Express. A perfect little Latte. Take a look at the photos I posted and you'll see the reason for my new-found happiness! I've been using it for a couple of months now and each time I'm amazed. And what about Starbucks? I still go there once in a while to "just chill" but it's not on my morning route any more. In fact, my friends have started dropping in for coffee at my place!

What our customer's say! "Works erratically", The Aerolatte was my first attempt at a home frother. When it works, it makes pretty good froth. There are two serious problems: (1) It can get gunk in the place where the whisk meets the motor, then it doesn't go at all; and (2) Even when it is working, it slows down as soon as it hits the milk. At full speed, it froths milk well. About 85% of the time it's going half speed, which makes frothing a frustration. About 5% of the time, it doesn't go until you clean up the connection to the handle. I purchased the manual BonJour Caffee Froth Monet to augment the Aerolatte, and now fine myself using the BonJour every day. It requires no batteries, produces dependable froth, and is fun to use. "Frothy price?", Works wonderfully--produces LOTS of froth--but as other reviews have noted, price here seems puffed up like the foam. (I think IKEA, e.g., carries the identical item and asks much less.) Other than this-- moderate battery life, easy to use, great results. "Whip it, whip it good.", I love this product and use it every day. I make espresso coffee in the afternoon and whip up a froth like a pro. Now everyone wants a cappucino in the afternoon. It is figure friendly since you only have to use very little milk and skim milk for even less calories. "Best New Gatget in My Kitchen", I saw one of these in use at a friends, and simply couldn't stop drinking up coffee after dinner (and I normally do not order coffee after dinner) I was hooked. Ordered this as soon as I could. Product delivers perfect frothy milk in seconds. So easy to use, Nice touch that it comes with a battery, ready to use. Perfect for coffee lovers everywhere. Easy to clean, a great gift idea for coffee lovers everywhere, excellent low price, and product delivers what is promises - perfect frothy milk - other possible uses can be for making milk shakes - though I haven't tried this yet. I wouldn't trade mine for anything! "Love This Gadget", I love this gadget. It froths milk or soy milk in an instant. It makes better foam than even the best coffee places. It's now a pleasure to have cafe de leche and cappucino at home. I'm done fighting with espresso machine frothers which never really work on the small home machines. My only complaint is that it runs through batteries. I use rechargeables so it works well for me. ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "Works great", Easy, fast, and convenient. Now I can make a passable latte in my own kitchen by just frothing a little milk in the bottom of a glass and adding hot coffee. The milk doesn't even have to be hot, the coffee will warm it. My only concern is, it seems very fragile and may bend or break in a year or two. I wish more things were built to last. "Works well when the batteries are new. But you can froth milk in French Press!", I have owned this for about 5 years. I use a stover top espresso maker which works about as well as electric steam type. I have found that the electric pump type that are less than $250.00 don't work that well, and take up too much counter space in a small kitchen. This does work, but I found something that froths milk much better than this and much faster. Use a small Bodum 4 cup French Press. Put your milk in the French Press (not the same one you are making your coffee in. Get a second smaller one) and rapidly work the plunger up and down for about 10 to 20 seconds. You have frothier milk in less than half the time and you won't need to change batteries every two weeks. "perfect froth", This little gizmo will froth a small amount of hot milk into delicious, fine foam at least four times it's volume in seconds. It is so much better than the foam my old espresso machine steamed and also better than a couple of frothers I tried that were engineered a bit differently. This and a moka pot and you have perfect cappuccino's "Milk Frother", Once I say "Absolutely Fablous!" there's not much more to say. This product works wonderfully, quickly, and cleans up easily. It's better than any other method I know to turn an everyday cup of coffee into a Starbucks-like delight. "It Really Works!", This is my third attempt at purchasing a functioning, reliable frother, after I got spoiled by a friend using one to prepare delicious "pseudo lattes". This device seems to have a more powerful motor, and has been more durable than the other two brands I tried. It really does produce a tasty simulation of steamed milk foam. Just be prepared to deal with the frother addict's ultimate dilemma: why do some brands of milk, regardless of the milk fat content refuse to foam, while others do? Let me know when you figure that one out! Enjoy. ![]() |
