"Big but good", I actually love this knife. When it got here it was a lot bigger than I expected (evidently I don't actually know how big ten inches is) but it works great. It is amazing how much easier it is for me to cut and chop with a knife that actually holds and edge.

"Mundial 5100 Series 10 inch Chef Knife", Usually buy Wusthof but their 10 inch chefs are $$$$ so I trolled for something more reasonable considering that this would not be used as an everyday, line chef knife.

Has good balance. Personally, would like a little more weight but I admittedly prefer heavy. Most do not? Very sharp out of the box.

Chose Mundial based on $$, blade shape, and the red handle. Yes, the red handle. Blade has less belly than Wusthof but is not as triangular as Henckles. Overall quite satisfied.
