Others say...

"Excellent. Worth the money"
The product is very easy to use. I received mine this afternoon and quickly marinated some chicken breasts. For 15 minutes of marinating, they were outstanding. Good flavor, moist, and tender. For the people who say it does not work, I think that they may be using meat that already has flavor added or has a seasoning solution (water or whatever) already added. Reveo highly recommends against using meat that has solutions already added. According to the manual, meat is like a sponge, and if the meat is already stuffed with the liquid solution, it cannot absorb any more marinade. If the meat is not the issue, could be a problem with the barrel or the seal on the lid. if those are good, it should work and your meat will be more flavorful than it would be with hours of marinating using the old style of marinating.

"Good product, Good price."
I found the marinator to be exactly as promised--it works great, and imparts a great taste in just 20 Min. for beef. It is quite easy to use and I'm anxious to try it on a whole chicken.

"Pay the Price!"
I got it 2 years ago for $200 which was a splurge, but I'd still pay it now. (7/08 - it's down to $137 - even better bargain). It works! Meats grill up super juicy. I butterfly chicken for 3 minutes on each side and you'd be amazed at the taste and moist-ness. The most fun is experiementing with marinades. I highly recommend trying Reveo's Italian Renaissance marinade. - a true fan

"Definitely worth the money!!"
I bought this for my Dad for Father's Day - he is an avid griller. We have done steaks, pork, and chicken in the MariVac so far and it has made a world of difference!! The MariVac gives the meat a much fuller flavor and makes a HUGE difference in the tenderness of the meat. We are completely addicted to the Reveo experience - I highly recommend it!

"This rocks!!"
This marinating tumbler is fantastic! The meat comes out so tender and flavorful. It works well with veggies too. Definitely a good purchase!!!

What our customer's say!

"Junk", I never have left a review before, but this is a new low. I was excited, even with this price tag. First use, it was working for 10 minutes, then it stopped turning. I was under the 5 LB food limit, so it doesn't make sense. Okay, I tasted the meat after cooking and it was not better than a plastic bag marinade.

Please, please, do not purchase this.

"Meat marinade", I purchased the food tumbler to use in BBQ contests. I wanted to tumble and marinade the meat in a vacuum to attmept to get more flavor from the meat. It tumbles like a champ, but the marinade did not seem to penetrate any deeper than just using a ziplock bag. I am going to make my marinade thinner to see if this helps.

"Oh so tasty.....", I purchased this product based on the many reviews here on Amazons website. And let me tell you, they were right. The MariVac does a fantastic job, and takes your bbq'ing to the next level. So far I have done chicken, steak and salmon in the MariVac and all have received excellent reviews from those that ate them. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to get better flavor from their meats/fish.

"A "must have" appliance for barbeque freaks!", Reading the reviews, I see that most of this has already been said by other fans of the Reveo tumbler, so I'll just add my mega-kudos for this appliance. I've used it frequently over the last couple of years and it's remained trouble-free. The flavor and tenderness of steaks prepared with the Reveo beats those of a famous local steakhouse that uses above-prime beef grilled over an open fire of seasoned tamarack. How did I ever live without this?!? My one and only complaint is that the dry rubs that are included with the tumbler are no longer available as refills. I used to purchase them online, but now I can't find them anywhere. Bummer, because they were pretty darn good too.

"Best Marinater Ever", I originally purchased a Reveo Mari-Vac about 2 1/2 years ago and it was one of the best purchases I ever made. I liked it so much I bought one for my bachelor sons to use at their apartment. One great feature is the marinating time. I usually marinate my chicken, beef or pork about 1/2 before I am ready to cook it and it tastes like it has been marinating overnight. Not being really organized, I wind out taking something out of the freezer in the AM and it doesn't ususally thaw until late afternoon. I put the food in the Mari-Vac and 20 minutes later it is readly to go. Unfortuantely last month the rotation section of it stopped working. I could still marinate but it would not tumble. Not the worst thing to happen but I bought another one. The only thing I don't like about it is the way that it opens up after the marinating is done. The lever to release the cover is very small and if you don't have good strength in your hand or wrist, it is diffiuclt to open. Having said that, I would recommend the Mari-Vac to anyone who likes to marinate their food.

"Vacuum Marinator", Very good. Very use useful to quickly marinate large chunks of meat particularly a steak, whole chicken or turkey.

"Awesome Machine", We bought this machine and absolutely love it!!!! So far we've marinated chicken on and off the bone, flank steak and used to prep meat for meatballs. Everyone who tries the meats we've marinated have been blown away. Easy to use, easy to clean. We use it almost every day. Its not cheap, but it really works.

"LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!", We have used this practically every night since we have had it. We have done chicken, steak, deer meat, you name it and it has all been excellent!! We have recommended to all of our friends!

"i love it.", it's everything the passed reviews said it was and more! i have used it on meat, fish and shrimp with excellent results. i am so glad i bought it.

"Yay! It works!", I love kitchen tools, and have dozens, but this one is very impressive. First of all, it is well designed and constructed. There aren't a lot of little dimples and places that are hard to clean. It just wipes off. The container goes into the dishwasher. The instructions are easy to follow.

I've only used it twice so far, but I was especially impressed with the way it tenderized and flavored a tri-tip, which can be tough and chewy. It did a great job on some chicken pieces also.

10 months later: I've really got the hang of it now. I'm making my marinades more concentrated now, and the meats absorb almost the whole amount. Great purchase; takes a lot of storage space.
