"Second one in 2-1/2 years" As many here have said, the batteries in this unit are what limit it's life. Replacing the battery pack is not an option for most people nor was it ever intended to be. It is literally cheaper to buy a new vacuum, which I did. I was so happy with the performance of the first one I had I didn't think twice about getting another. I just accepted that I will need to buy a new one every 2-3 years. Maybe the next time I need a new one the battery issue will be fixed. "Cyclonic" I got this DustBuster for my husband. He is very happy with it and it definitely lives up to its name: cyclonic. "battery not user replaceable..very weak battery." ..worked ok for a short while but now fails to fully charge or battery depletes very fast. Battery is not user replaceable. In short it's a POS and a waste of money. Look for a unit with user replaceable battery because they will fail to charge sooner or later. None of the Black & Decker units have a use replaceable battery. The battery should easly pop out and not require any tools or disassembly. The B&D people should get 50 lashes at the whipping post for selling JUNK like this. pd. "finally, dust buster with power" this unit is replacing a dying earlier model, which never, even when new, had this kind of pick-up capability; I'm pleased. "mom of twins" love this product. it works on any floor and any item such as bird seed, which are cockatoo spills all over the floor. my son uses it to help me around the house with the bird seed and any thing he and his sister might spill. my daughter uses to clean up crafts and such and I say any cleaning tool your kids can use to help you or clean up after themselves is worth every penny!!! it also last for years when you recharge it.

What our customer's say! "My Black & Decker Cyclonic Dustbuster", I found that the cyclonic dustbuster has plenty of power to do the job. It picks up everything from dirt spills to cat hair. It is also easy to empty and easy to clean. It fits neatly into a wallspace and is ready to go when I need it. It is attractively styled and easy to handle. It runs smoothly and efficiently. I am extremely pleased with the operation and styling of this product. "Excellent dustbuster", I bought this after my last wet/dry dustbuster grew mold in it. My only complaint (minor) is that, on the charing base, the red light does not always come on when it is charging (even during times I KNOW it needed a charge). My understanding is that this red light is lit as long as the dustbuster is charging and then turns off automatically when done. Well, my worked in the beginning, but no longer does (and, yes, I checked to make sure it was seated right in the charger). All in all a great product! "Dustbuster a real help", I have used other Dustbusters but this one has no cord to bother with so makes it easier to grab and dust quickie jobs ao you don't have to take out the big clunky vacuum cleaner. It sits on the charger all the time you aren't using it, so is always ready to go and do the quick jobs you need to do. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Cyclonic Dustbuster", I really enjoy using this Dustbuster. It replaces one that was about 10 years old; it has much bigger capacity, is easier to clean and is not very noisy. I didnt like the fact that they want you to fasten the holder to the wall in order to keep it upright but was able to improvise so that it didnt need to be attached to the wall. "Black & Decker Dust Buster", Excellent purchase. Does a great job. Very powerful vacuum. We are very happy with this purchase "Moms best friend!!", Love it! Great for cleaning up after my two little ones in between vacuuming days. It has really good power - I even use it for my steps rather than my Dyson. "Good duster", We finally upgraded from our 10 year old Dustbuster.... Why did we wait so long? This works great and isn't much bigger than the original. Much better power and the battery lasts much longer. "This vacuum really sucks!!", It sucks as advertised. On higher speed setting it sucks even more. Even my wife said the vacuum i bought sucked more than anyone we've owned. The battery assures the device sucks for at least 12 minutes. If you're looking for a vacuum that sucks a whole lot, this is it. |
