"Fantastic product!", I love Zorb--it smells great and really freshens the carpet! I don't have a grooming tool, so work it into the carpet with a stiff broom. When I vacuum it up 30+ minutes later, it picks up the most incredible amount of dog hair, debris, etc out of that carpet, it's a little creepy lol!

Wish I could get it locally, but since I can't, its great that Amazon carries it!

"This just didn't work. ", It smelled nice. It was like sawdust but spongy and moist. It smelled nice.

Other than that, it did nothing.

"Works OK, but overpriced", Didn't notice a big difference. I think it's the same stuff as the Host Carpet Cleaner available at most Ace Hardware stores at less than half the cost.

"Wonderful!", I was skeptical to use this on our thick pile carpet, but after one late night vomit episode from my 2 year old, Zorb changed my life forever! I haven't performed any science experiments on our carpet for cleaniness, but it definitely works wonders on smell. Our carpet is thick, brown/black speckled, shag/pile, therefore, you can't really see anything on our carpet (the dirt hides well). After our little episode, I cleaned the area with regular carpet cleaner (which did not get that vomit smell out; it just cleaned the carpet). Then, I used Zorb as directed, and poof, no more vomit smell. I have used it several times, including where the dog likes to lay the most. It definitely takes the horrible smell out of the carpet, but as I said, I cannot tell if it removes dirt/debris any better than the dyson alone. Which, we love our dyson. I don't know how anyone lives without one!

"Good stuff", This is good stuff. My carpet looked and smelled great after using Zorb...the effects did not last as long as I would like, though. If you started using this product and a Dyson vacuum on brand new carpet, I think it would be better.

My Rug Doctor is much better than either of these two products - with that said these two products do have a place for occasional use when I don't have the time to get out my Rug Doctor and the time to allow for the carpet to dry thoroughly.

Both Zorb and Capture dry relatively fast (about 30+ minutes, depending on the humidity in the room; using a fan helps drying). The Zorb granules while tiny are several times larger than the Capture granules; and the Zorb granules feel more like tiny sponges than do the Capture granules. The Zorb seems to work better into the carpet fibers than the Capture. Also, Zorb and Capture both have sprays that can be used on spots, stains and dirt to aid in cleaning.

While I intend to continue to use the Zorb (& the spray) in the future for the times I need a quick small area cleaning I am only rating it with 3 stars (I would really like to give it a 3 1/2) since there are many fairly good spot and small area cleaners that work about as good as Zorb or Capture does.

I do have a Dyson DC18 Slim that I try to use daily and it vacuums up a lot more than my previous (category 2 hurricane) Oreck XL did; and this makes my Rug Doctor and Zorb do a better job.

Like another reviewer of this product indicates, regular systematic cleaning of your carpets is key to making them last much longer.

"next best thing to steam cleaning.", This product has a clean fresh scent. It does an excellant job of cleaning surface dirt from the carpet. I am not sure how well it would work if you were not using it with a dyson. You do have to work it into the carpet fibers, allow it to dry then sweep up the dry particles. It it like tiny little moist sponges. I use it between more through steam cleaning.

"Looks great.", I've used this several times in the past. It always looks and smells like I've just had my rugs shampooed. Great item, but them so is the dyson vac.

"Zorbs your time and nothing else!", I just spent two futile hours trying to remove some garden variety dirt from my stairs. I vacuumed (and I really can't say enough GOOD things about the Dyson vacuum, it's awesome!) used the zorb tool that came with my vacuum and thoroughly worked it into the stains, waited 30 minutes and vaccumed thoroughly again. Nothing! I should have read a book instead for all the good it did. Very disappointing and now I'll need to find the energy to get out the carpet cleaner and do it all again.
