"Best travel press I've owned"
Great little travel press. The grounds always come up around the plunger on these things, but with the screen in the drinking hole, no crunchy coffee! I thought the spare grounds holder in the base was kinda hokey, but turns out it is sorta useful.

"Fantastic way to easily brew a single cup of coffee"
I have always loved French Press coffee, but it hard to carry a thin glass French Press around with you. Besides those French Presses leak lots of heat. This French Press mug is exactly what I wanted and it is a great, quality product. It makes fantastic coffee, is insulated and even has that neat bottom holder for spare coffee or tea for a second cup out in the world. It is easy to clean and fits nicely in our car cup holders. The only thing to watch out for is that the plunger is plastic (that's why 4 instead of 5 stars - I would have done 4.5 stars if that was an option). If it had been completely metal, it would be heavier and cost much more, so I understand why it is plastic, but it is possible to accidently bend back one of the plastic fingers. One of the two cups we ordered came with the plastic plunger already damaged. However, as soon as I told Liquid Planet, they had a replacement in the mail immediately and we got it 2 days later. Fantastic service from Liquid Planet. I imagine even if we had caused the damage, a replacement would be inexpensive and shipped out quickly.


"Great Press"
It makes great coffee and the ability to carry two extra shots of coffee in the base of the mug is awesome and even handier than I thought it would be!

"Double shot double fine"
I got this french press for a coffee expert friend for Christmas, he was very pleased and loved the fact that he can take an extra shot of coffee, reserved in the bottom of the cup, anywhere he goes. He liked the purple colour and thought it was very "him".

"I would be LOST without this mug!"
I bought Planetary Design's Double Shot Travel French Press Mug in January '07, while on vacation. I was staying with a friend who didn't have a coffee maker and well, I NEED my coffee. I picked my mug up at a local co-op and though the price seemed high, it has been worth twice as much. I have literally used my mug every day since then!
The double filtration system really does keep the grains out of your mouth, especially if you rough grind your beans. The insulating abilities are amazing. It still looks and works as good as it did a year ago.
I have since bough two more mugs, one for my mother and one for my brother - both of whom had raved about mine. They both love theirs just as much.
If you are a coffee lover, I cannot recommend this product enough!
